i agree with you. i'm not sure why ppl are tricked into thinking uncharted looks so great. it does look really good, no doubt about that; but those pictures you linked from ign...i don't see how you can look at them and not see that gears is definitely superior. everything is sharp and detailed, the lighting is immaculate, the environment just looks clean; it's just way better looking than i thought it would be. uncharted character models lack detail, the environments look gre...
although i'm still torn. not between 360 and ps3, but between preordering tomorrow at gamestop for the extra mission, or preordering on amazon for the sniper rifle.
gamestop pre-order also comes with some device that unlocks every door, and i gotta ask, what's the fun in that? tough call.
seems like it would be a good iphone/android game. not sure why you noobs are hating on it. just looks like a fun little game to play while you're sitting on the toilet. certainly looks to be about a million times more fun than angry birds.
5.5 does NOT mean above average. average is 70% haven't you EVER taken a test in school? middle school? high school? it's a 0-100 scoring like a test score. that means that 70-75 is average. 55 is a failing grade.
and i'm sure any dimwit would find something as stupid as "cakeandgames" to be funny or clever.
Your website has a stupid name; and From Dust is a unique puzzle game that, despite its short-comings, is actually pretty fun to play once you understand the mechanics.
@PimpHandHappy: Nice to see that the SDF is still alive and kicking. what an irrational statement. just because your only online friend happens to live in the same country as you so that the two of you can chat on a cell phone doesn't mean that most gamers don't get tremendous use out of the cross chat feature.
i use it pretty much every time i turn my 360 on, and i'm ALWAYS on ventrilo when on my pc. in fact, sometimes when i'm on ps3, i turn on my xbox o...
actually console fans are the reason why we keep getting a COD every year. same dull boring game. and because we keep getting a COD, some developers don't even try to make original games cuz they know console gamers like to shell out money for the same junk.
i'm not saying this because i think you're wrong...i'm just sayin that i think it works both ways.
They did a great job with the choices you had in this game. It's really impressive looking too for a last gen game. I bought all these on xbox when they came out (2nd one was my first xbox live game), and i had forgotten i much i enjoyed them. i will definitely be picking up the HD trilogy when they're released.
he didn't focus "too much" on the price point. he mentioned it. then he went on to the most important part of it. people don't want uni-taskers. and i have to agree with him. vita looks very impressive...but nothing we won't see cell phones doing within a year or two. and even if they don't, smart phones are also HD cameras, audio and video devices, game players, web browsers, text messengers, they have tens of thousands of apps that aren't games, oh yeah, ...
I KNEW IT!!! i knew that if i clicked on an article debating best game of all time, there would be some sony fanboy that would mention an unreleased game. LOL. wow you people are so depressingly predictable.
The best game of all time is Half-Life 2. the original Zelda is the best in the series.
then again, if we wanted to measure "best game" by the number of total man hours that have been invested, then the title would almost certainly go to World of Warcraft.
