i enjoyed uncharted, certainly thought the voice acting was good...but before you get all teary eyed about how 'epic' and 'mindblowing' it is, watch this... these were almost my exact impressions when i played through it the first time.
well you have to consider that the console life span is only 5-6 years. hard for a game to have huge longevity. though halo 2 still has a ton of players by console standards. probably more than most current gen console fps. but i do agree with you. i still pop in starcraft from time to time. and i think CS source is over 5 years old now and still going very strong. and you can bet TF2 will be a popular pc shooter for years to come. pc gaming is different from console, to be sure. we ...
i actually played it 2 days ago for the first time in about a year. and after taking such a huge break and checking out other FPS's i can still safely say it's the most solid online FPS for console. The problem, however, is the majority of the community that still plays it. Every game i joined had at least 4 ppl talking sh!t for absolutely no reason. and over the course of about 2 hours of playing, i met ONE person that wasn't a complete jerk. imagine how much more popular it would still...
smart authors warn of spoilers before opening their big mouths. maybe you're new to this whole thing...
and don't try to present flawed logic as if i missed something. here's the logic. this article is talking about why it's bad to spoil the ending. so then it does the same thing itself. that's called hypocrisy. not good writing.
for those of us that weren't stupid enough to watch a video that spoils the ending, we get to have it ruined by the moron that wrote this article. good job...
ppl were predicting this and they are STILL predicting this. just like they are predicting a lot of things. there is nothing confirmed about this article and there's no leaked info. this author is just some moron who is way behind the times and just now caught up with the rumors.
the problem with that is that this generation has already seen a 20% hike in costs. from 50-60. and you think you can somehow justify an even bigger hike within 5 years after games were 50 for about 15 years? give me a break. and as for the argument of increased expenses...in case you haven't noticed, but these call of duty games all look the same. They just keep basically making mods for the same engine. That doesn't cost as much as you think. i'm not saying the COD games are bad, but...
by that logic, modern warfare 2 would be at a discount as well, but it's still 59.99 cuz they know it'll sell well. I guarantee you'll be able to get this game in the bargain bins within 6 months.
