Didn't we already learn of this like a year or so ago? I remember commenting on this if I'm not mistaken. Hmm. Either way, the King explodes so technically he isn't a third ball in the pit.
Well I hope Nintendo can keep the pressure on for 2018 and this announcement doesn't change something we don't know about. Whether these cards are an issue or not I hope they get it worked out soon, besides the last thing a developer needs is a lazy reason to not port or bring a title over these days.
Odd, but I'm not surprised. People stream anything it seems. Probably not the last we've seen of The Kaplan Show.
Definitely all the matter of opinion (or possibly age), and great arguments could be made from both sides, but in my opinion it's the greatest ever.
Not only was it fun and housed memorable moments, but it proved to me what 3D could do. Ocarina of Time added new game mechanics, like Z targeting and its camera system, and made music a vital part of the story, which, I believe, actually improves and deepens gameplay.
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. It seems natural that Ubi would chase its formula with its predecessors, but end up with a new IP instead with all the drawing board attempts.
Glad I'm not the only one who would buy this! Sometimes I wish they would back projects like this, but I would imagine if something went wrong it would hurt the franchise. Who knows, maybe Nintendo will eventually remake a game with a new engine, like this fella did? The market is definitely there. In my opinion, seeing an older title upscaled like this not only looks amazing, but it feels right.
Despite a small hiccup with lag shooting between barrels, this is astoundingly gorgeous to look at. Well done!
His publishers most definitely do, yes. But I'm just going by what he says in the article: “I’m a passion driven man, and if this feels right, this is what it’s going to be," before eventually going on about how it's important to follow what you believe in.
Fares clearly had a vision for his game since its inception, which he discusses, EA just seemed to understood and knew how to market the product.
It's cool when someone can be that passionate about something, especially when it's within this industry. I can understand him not wanting to compromise his vision, though. It just sucks that his vision didn't have single player also.
Not surprised by any of this, which is sad to say. I've heard the horror stories and read about them throughout the years and feel your pain. Doing a job you love is a fantastic feeling, but some people, let's call them douchebags, prey on that very thing when they know you like what you do.
In the gaming industry it's no joke when someone says it's a "labor of love," but I truly hope things get better because a lot of these guys do fantastic work. I say th...
2017's biggest gaming surprises for me:
1. Nintendo Switch: its exclusives were insanely fun (Zelda, Mario, and Kingdom Battle, seriously, who expected the last one to be that fun?!) and I'm very much looking forward to the future with it.
2. Star Fox 2: I never thought we would ever get a proper release. About time.
3. Star Wars Battlefront 2 fiasco: EA proves again why I dislike them in the highest sense, but the community uniting was fantastic!

To be fair, Gamecube was a part of Mr. Yamauchi's legacy.
But c'mon, the Gamecube wasn't that bad. That purple lunchbox had a lot going for it! In my opinion, it was Nintendo's last great console before the Switch.
Of course they should! The more people in the industry with different approaches and backgrounds can't be a bad thing. If anything it should be seen as a continuing evolution of the industry.
All 5 are excellent tracks too! If you haven't seen them live then you need to make it a priority for 2018.
And the Studio of The Year strikes again. Man, if we only judged studios based on controversy then EA would be #1. Take a bow, EA!
I'm alone here, but strike up a Super Mario RPG remake, so then maybe newer gamers will understand that we need a sequel. Then while we're at it, some Chrono Trigger would be nice too.
I truly believe we will see this kind of game again, it's just a matter of when. Mainstream play seems to be stuck on Gen 7's push of the cinematic/realistic approach, pushing harder for emotion and leaving out the substance. It's understandable that developers and some gamers want to prove the medium, but sooner or later we'll get by this stage and get back to basics.
"One person took the gaming session too seriously." haha. No, this is quite tame, usually we start a World War or a riot. I now look forward to knowing what game was being played.
A new Tomb Raider is as sure as death and taxes, but an episodic path is not the right way for a franchise that was just starting to get up on its feet again. An episode-based entry would kind of be like having a fast sports car and heading into the middle of a town with the most stop signs.
Nevertheless, their recent/upcoming episode-centric games aside, "we’re taking a new approach this time” and “won't be long between the official reveal and when you can play" is ...
I was thinking the same thing, NecrumOddBoy.
