Of course! If I were serious you wouldn't need my permission to put me out of your misery.
Shhh. Don't say games are first too loud, because an app lover may hear you. That's blasphemy to them and they carry bigger pitchforks.
Most likely as Nintendo's Dreamcast. I personally didn't buy one, not a fan of the Wii era, but anyone I've talked to online/in person that did invest in one loves it.
Well.. yeah. The last Direct was a mini and Nintendo typically does one or two Directs after doing one within 20 days.
That was some quick PR, but you better have just that if you're using any form of social media. At least the situation is contained and Net of Flix didn't let this escalate like EA surely would have.
Agreed. At the very least give the reader a choice to read the entire article on one page!
To save everyone interested from clicking so many pages-
Murlocs (WOW), Hunters (Halo), Creepers (Minecraft), Zubats (Pokémon), Bonewheel Skeletons (Dark Souls), Like Likes (Zelda), Your nemesis (Shadow of Mordor), Marlboros (Final Fantasy), Hammer Bros. (Mario), Birds Ninja Gaiden)
And no Shao Kahn? Seriously?! He's one of the biggest a-holes in gaming. Oh, and not an enemy in the traditional sense, but I would like to nominate Tingle (Z...
Put this franchise on Switch, arcade like, with joycon as your light gun.
But you know that's why people bought the Switch don't be crazy! Everyone knows it is apps first, games second.
Cool. Now I know how Marty Mcfly's parents got theirs.
I can see your point, so arguably, that's true. But I think laziness is more of a deciding factor.
In my opinion, the subsequent sequels only proved that Capcom could stroke a fire, not make one, thus making watered-down versions of Resident Evil 4 for the next two outings. I applaud them for using some of the original Resident Evil development team, but the developer didn't attempt to push anything in the franchise forward with 5 and 6.
They actually allo...
There has always been a niche for graphics hounds in gaming, but nowadays it's a smaller niche. I'd imagine gamers as a whole take graphics in as the norm, they're almost desensitized to it you could say.
These graphics hounds will be here a while longer, but their days are numbered.
Graphics are argued by eight year olds, gamers argue about whether that game is worth it. So, do graphics sell? If you want to win a niche, yes. Not an audience.
The moment I read about this unfortunate incident yesterday, I immediately thought this newly made disorder would be his defense. Now I expect experts to claim truth to the disorder.
In reality, like Ghost_of_Tsushima states, it is a mental one for this incident. The guy is obviously not well. For most cases it's bad parenting, because some kids shouldn't be playing certain games. ESRB was made for a reason. Well, now I await a trial to explain this situation and ...
Sadly, not much is really said here that we don't already know. I'm looking forward to the Switch’s sophomore year, either way.
I'm sure someone wasn't happy, because they wanted a Space World presentation, but I had no expectations so I walked away okay. There should be another mini or a regular Direct within the next 20 days to get giddy over, so no big deal.
With this guy being a 28 year old man, you would think he would have learned how to keep his anger under control.
Sucks to be wrong, sure, but when you're in that state of mind it can be great in certain cases, especially in this one.
There's no room for pessimism in gaming journalism and I'm glad you learned that. Some never do, sadly.
From one "retired" games journalist to another, remain as neutral as possible, an open mind let's say, be patient, and (like you said) accountable. Great job, Ghost, and good luck.
Backward Compatibility may not be the must-have for some people on a platform, but it never hurts to have it.
After all, my living room can't take but so much abuse from all the systems. If it wasn't for backward compatibility, and my patience to unravel cords, I'd have to separate each room by 2-3 gens each, because I refuse to let any of my consoles go.
Right after Resident Evil 3 they seemed confused. Veronica and Zero weren't bad titles, a tie for me, but it was after Mikami's split from Capcom after delivering a terrific 4th outing that the series seemed more lost than confused, for me anyway.
I've said it a thousand times and I'll say it again, the Dawn of the Dead of video games right here. It's truly insane that it turns 20 on January 21st.
I may be ancient now, but I'm thankful I got to play it when it first came out, and would still tell anyone to play this game immediately if, oddly, you haven't.
I didn't see it on the list so I'll add, which most probably know anyway, that George A. Romero himself directed the Japanes...
