I remain unsure, Eddie. It wasn't too long ago when a (rightful) rage was against Xbox over this very thing, and usually were countered with the same response. A lot has changed since then, but I wouldn't shame anyone that wanted to picket either.
"NES games can only be played for seven days offline before needing to check back in on your membership, according to Nintendo." - I am a bit unsure what to say to this.
Ha! I actually forgot about locking Winston in the fridge!
With the announcement of what may be the greatest symbolic victory in gaming - Final Fantasy 7 hitting a Nintendo console on a cartridge - I now must purchase it for Switch.
.... about damn time!
I can't of a reason for it not to...
The real news for a lot of people seems to be that Nintendo said "hell."
Neat easter egg, if you want to call it that, but I'm still skeptical of this game.
It begins. The reveal should be interesting, although 'interesting' is a colorless word for this event. And it's no coincidence a hurricane is hitting soon in the States, because one is about to drop on the internet on the 13th. Take that as you will.

Change your mind, Lorne?
Are textures DLC or are they doubling down on the PUBG experience?
Interestingly, the downtime occurs around the time slot of the new rumored Direct. So, Nintendo... whatcha doin'?
We will see, but either way - challenge accepted.
"Because they can." I would have said it was because they're the last true console and game maker (games truly are their livelihood), so prices stay high because they need to. They're running a business afterall.
I loved MK in the arcades, but when I saw it on a console I was blown away. The digitized actors and the gore were just amazing. In fact, I fondly remember not being able to stop playing it, because it truly was unlike anything that I had seen before.
Most definitely! I can't tell you how many hours I've put into the trilogy with multiplayer, but what I can tell you is that it was time well spent.
Certainly sounds like they're taking a great deal of care with the franchise, and the team seems pretty passionate about the project. I can't wait to try this out! Here's hoping more games, and forgotten genres, come back so gaming can stop being so serious all the time.
Nice!
Microsoft made a huge slip up out the gate and Nintendo was over confident in the expanded market, along with their own marketing mishap of the console name. Sony, on the other hand, managed to flex their first-party muscle and win some market in the twilight years of the PS3's life and capitalize on their competition's misfirings with Sony's ultimate weapon: marketing.
So, in essence, with a good chunk of the market now backing them, developers kept the games coming and...
