Games like this make me wonder if the review system we have will eventually change or we'll simply update the scores?
I don't see it happening any time soon, but absolutely. I would enjoy seeing more sports titles from other developers.
You know just as well as I that there isn't one, but that's the point, nowitzki. Fortnite is a metaphorical cross-play barrier because it is on all three consoles, which is why it's a "greatest hits" on the feature.
All it takes is one game that all of the Big 3 could cross-play on and the community could truly benefit from online multiplayer by helping it take the next step.
I hear you. PUBG is an exclusive, so that's on Microsoft, but the multiplatform titles like Battlefield and Call of Duty aren't on Switch. Fortnite is just a metaphorical cross-play barrier right now because it's popular, and it happens to be on all three consoles.
If all three consoles had cross-play then I'm sure Activision and EA would take that step. I just think that putting limitations on the community is upsetting when we could have more.
Well Sarcastic Sally, you're missing the point, as lighthearted as your comment is. Throwing any kind of limitations on the community isn't something to applaud, whether we use the feature or not. And although I don't play Fortnite, I sympathize with its fanbase knowing that one day I, too, could be angry that a platform I own won't let me use a feature that other consoles have. Of course, this is made all the more ironically regrettable because it's the company that claim...
No financial reason. I personally don't care either way, but, admittedly, blocking PS4 Fortnite players to use their account on Switch is still a d*ck move.
I hope this is the revival of combat racing games. I'm tired of realistic racing, I want that arcade feel back.
Interesting mechanic. I think I'll adjust one or two the first playthrough, depending on how the experience goes, but the second time through it's hard mode all the way.
Very understandable, but what were you really expecting from this genre? In my opinion, most players don't play games like Grand Theft Auto for its story. Most of the time, the world, setting, and characters is what stands out the most, with the story serving as a means to interact with that world. Each sandbox installment is - arguably - a baby step in the right direction, so disappointment is always sure to follow when we don't have the reinvention of the wheel (not that you wanted ...
Somebody hit the Panic Button (Games)!
So the main points here is that we still know next to nothing (features, etc), but typical online game stuff (special items, cash bonuses), and you aren't sure if it is a single player game, because it can't be confirmed or denied at this point, and you think Take-Two will focus on the online portion instead of the single-player experience because no single player expansions hit Grand Theft Auto 5?
I'm not sure how you qualify a legitimate worry, but I think you...
The game in question was sealed and unopened, technically not “used,” but being sold secondhand.
Bethesda offered the following statement:
Bethesda does not and will not block the sale of pre-owned games. The issue in this case is that the seller offered a pre-owned game as “new” on the Amazon Marketplace.
We do not allow non-authorized resellers to represent what they sell as “new” because we can’t verify that the game hasn’t been ope...
Great read in my opinion. You learn quite a bit behind-the-scenes stuff, including some of the stuff, and people, that were in this video. Look it up when you find the time, it's called: Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo, and the Battle that Defined a Generation.
I sincerely hope so.
This kinda makes me want to read the Console Wars book again.
Side note: I was blindsided by that ending! Well played.
Not enough angst. 3/10
Well in that case, in Panic Button I trust.
I'm ready. Now I'm interested in whether Panic is helping or not.
Not my can of soda but this sucks for someone, so I'm sorry, dude/dudette.
I'm going to keep my hype in check, but my crappy detective skills suggest a Direct is incoming that focuses on Nintendo’s online. And further out in the guessing game, possibly in the wild card area, possibly 20 of those titles are the NES 20 Nintendo said Switch would have launching with their online service.
