One studio closure does not mean hard times for all of Triple-I development, especially one that only did episodic work and picking up different licenses.
No doubt civilized conversations about gear choices are about to take place.
Goodie...
Glad to see the community came together on this. I was wondering how long it was going to take, but it caught Nintendo’s eye quicker than I thought it would.
I personally loved the N64, as well as its controller. Great generation entirely, no matter the console.
Collectible, yeah. And there's definitely a market for mini's, although it's more for people who don't play anymore, but like you said it would be a play once or twice scenario. In my opinion, Sony should have put more focus on their - increasingly gimmicky - PS Now instead of doing this, but that nostalgic market is too hard to pass up these days it seems.
You push PS Now, and let that be the reasoning for not letting us already have any previous gen games, despite being almost 5 years old, and then you do this...
You don't just forget a game like Conker's Bad Fur Day. "Expected Nintendo exclusive" or not, it's a great game that houses an interesting single player, wonderful humor, and fun multiplayer (especially "Beach").
In fact, I sat down and played this game with four friends a few weeks ago for the umpteenth time and it's still great. BFD definitely deserved more attention than it got, but it's a cult classic that's worth owning.
Jonah Jameson would pay good money for these. Just sayin'.
Definitely didn't see that coming.
If I had a 3DS I would probably pick this up. Guess I'll boot up the Gamecube to give it another playthrough.
There's only one Killer 7. If you're looking for weird, fresh, and full of style then you've come to the right place. Not for everyone, but memorable nevertheless.
Mostly for the app than the actual games, I'd wager.
Game preservation. It's an ugly thing that the industry hasn't fixed. So it's not because Square wants to "forget it existed," it's just a costly move which would require more time.
That's not cool, Nintendo. Not cool at all. Should have made this a Switch game if this was the case.
Definitely cool, as is the two-player pointer on screen (I would use it to annoy friends if I had any), but I don't think I'm budging on this service yet. I'm sure I will eventually because that's a tempting price, and there's nothing for the service to do but get better, but it's not for me yet.
Most of these, if not all five, feel like a given.. at least in my opinion. Seriously though, I have no expectations, I just wanted it to exist, so I'm absolutely fine.
10. Hurt Tom Nook in some fashion.
Look at him. Smug. Diabolical. The thievius raccoonus.
Ehh..
With as much detail as they're putting into Cyberpunk, this may end up being next-gen or at least a cross-gen title. Wonder how big the install size is going to be?
