Does Apple announce an iPhone 7 and iPhone 7S coming next year (that is a little more expensive but it 4X awesome than the just announced iPhone 7?) in the same conference. NO! They just shot themselves in the foot.

18 months is a looong time. Also these console architectures are really similar to a PC and throwing in a better GPU isn't as far fetched as it was before. For example PS4 specs were out early and the reason MS couldn't beat even with a later reveal was due to their architecture (ESRAM). PS4 is a straight forward PC and they can just throw in a chunkier GPU if it came to that. In fact they changed from 4GB GDDR5 to 8GB in a month. Who says they cannot do the same with Neo?

Also, this isn't remedy's first ride. They tried to go against UC2 with Alan Wake and they failed miserably. I still remember back in the day when the Xbox crowd was hailing it as the UC2 killed of Xbox and it bombed. ND as devs are in their own league.
Quantum Break and a masterpiece WHAT THE!? In no way was it a masterpiece. I would argue it wasn't even that good to be honest. The TV episodes were too long and the story was ordinary at best. There is a reason why it has 77 on metacritics and UC4 is at 93. I would argue that scores are subjective but when you take an average of all scores, you end up with bands and anything below 80 shows that the game failed on a number of aspects and anything above 90 means the game truly did somethin...

I thought 3 was good but in no way is it better than 4. The story kinda fell apart at the end and the villain just didn't feel right. Also, the set pieces were a little too much IMO. In no particular order - UC4 (Previously UC2), Red Dead Redemption and The Last of Us. My taste is for games that are really engaging with a really good story. I think all of these are a perfect example of games that really raised the bar last generation and this. My list only spans 2 generations since I am a late bloomer so pardon any PS2 gen games I missed out.
I really hope ND works on an open world game now that they are done with UC4. The other team can work on TLOU2....
They could have done that all these years. The formula is pretty much set when UC2 came out. Have an engaging story with great performance and fluid gameplay. If you have high level view it seems so simple and straight forward. Yet so many games fail to get it right.

I just finished playing the game. Fantastic experience from start to finish. Gorgeous graphics, great gameplay and well written story. I always felt that I should play more just to learn what happens next which equates to an engaging game - something that a lot of games now-a-days aren't. There is no section that becomes a chore. A perfect balance of combat, puzzles and platforming.
UC4 is right up there in my top 3 single player experiences.
I got Killzone during the black friday sale and I just play the bots offline as it is so much fun to just chill out and kill bots. Mind you, bots on higher difficulty are really difficult and smart. I think every game should have a bots mode as it adds so much re-playability for people who don't want to indulge much online.

Wow... Do you really know what a SDK is? Do you understand what it means to code within a console SDK? Coding a game on a PC doesn't mean that the game will just run on any PC out there. Yes, with the DX12 it makes it easy to port the games from a console to PC, but you still have a lot different architecture to deal with.
Xbox One uses ESRAM and uses a different method of handling things than a traditional PC would handle. You need to change a lot of logic to handle it....
Although I was positive the PS4 would do well, I didn't expect it to outsell the Xbox One in November with all the Xbox deals that was nearly giving them away for less than 300 bucks with multiple games and controllers. Just shows how unstoppable PS4 is now.

The common things between JC2 and FC3/4 is that the world seems similar in terms of having the jungle + colorful setting. Apart from that they are completely different.

I just got the same UC bundle from Best buy with Fallout 4 and a Vertical stand thrown in for 350 bucks... It seems a better deal if you can still get it.
I preordered the Battle Front PS4 bundle but over the weekend, I saw some BF videos again and just felt that this would get boring really fast. Also, Best buy had a good deal for a PS4 Uncharted Bundle with Fallout 4 thrown in for free along with a vertical stand which made me pull the trigger.
While this game looks gorgeous, I feel I made the right choice going with FO4. Even with the bugs, the game is really awesome with the breadth of what one can do.
I still have a piano black PS3 (the first one... not the slim) which still looks so much more premium compared to anything even the PS4. Something about the black finish with the silver Playstation in the spiderman font still catches my eye!
Not me... I just ordered the PS4 battlefront bundle and took advantage of the target 3 games for 2 sale to get MGS5, Fallout 4 and Bloodbourne... Care less about Halo 5 or Tomb raider... I'll gladly take a PS4 over the One mainly because I feel it better suits my gaming taste.
They aren't that is the problem! They will be pulled back by PS4 and XB1 when they release which would mean they will never realize their full potential! Just imagine all the games that came out at the start of this gen where developers had to create games for PS4 and PS3. Now compare those games to something like Uncharted 4. There is a HUGE difference in quality (graphics, animation, lighting etc.) between both.
