Uh no. Just because you are having trouble grasping something that should be simple, doesn't mean it's all that complicated.
The difference between the companies though, is one that has software that sports some serious legs.
People seem to forget that even the Wii U sold more than 3 million in it's first month. In other words it's tough to tell whether Sony or Microsoft will maintain momentum.
Sounds freaking awesome! Too bad it'll never come stateside.

Pretty much only one company isn't falling down this path.
Had it been released on any other console, it would have been made into an action game. As Horror themed action games seems to be the only way to get noticed on Sony and Microsoft platforms.
The Wii had more true survival horror games(sadly a few of them never making their ways to North America) than any other console last gen, and hopefully the Wii U will continue the same trend.
・Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
・Fatal Frame 2 remake(Was much more t...
The game would not have worked on 360/PS3, nor would it have on the other next gen consoles. Only Wii U could have realized this game the way that it's meant to be played.
Halo in general I guess. Don't get me wrong I think they're all pretty good games. I've played all of them except 4, but they're not the end all games that many make them out to be.
Like Final Fantasy VII. It really is a very very good game. But good gravy is it overrated.
Probably only smaller studios that can't afford to spread development out across multiple consoles.
No it isn't. It might not be the best game ever, but it's certainly not overrated. It is appreciated exactly as much as it should be.
Halo. Halo is overrated.
Is Nintendo really shunned though?
It seems more like there is a very even spread across multiple development studios/publishers with none seemingly favored over the other. Seems like only the top 5 were agreed on. 46/68 voted on only received one vote. 10 games received 2 votes, and three received 3 votes.
The top 10 range then from 3 votes to 12 votes.
If Nintendo was "shunned," then so too were 30 other developers. But they weren't. W...
No no no. The NES gun was in no way similar. It was a "light gun."
"To create this effect, the gun contains a photodiode (or a phototransistor) in the barrel. The photodiode is able to sense light coming from the screen. The gun also contains a trigger switch. The output of the photodiode and the switch are fed to the computer controlling the game.
At the same time, the computer is getting signals from the screen driver electronics. If you have read How...
They didn't "steal" the tech. They stole the idea from someone. Nintendo was the first to actually develop the technology and then make it work.
Also a one time case doesn't constitute as a company that makes a habit of stealing. If anything, Nintendo is the least guilty of the big three in regards to stealing.
Well, Nintendo doesn't want to release buggy games.
Another one of these?
Don't these patent trolls ever give up?
I've lost count of how many times this has happened.
Nintendo always wins these though.
With the exception of the 3D thing.
Good call.
I hope not. It was a terrible port of a great game, and the original TurboGrafx-16 great is available on the Wii's virtual console service already. Well, at least I can play the original in Wii mode on my Wii U.
Dear Square Enix,
STOP!
Sincerely, the gaming community as a whole.
One of the best perks about PC. Don't have to worry about ever being shut down. ...oh and the online is free.
For me it's gotta be the Mass Effect trilogy. Not one game, and the ending was maddening. But no other game gripped me in the same way that Mass Effect did.
