I second Neonridr's sentiment.
EA. Does anyone care about you say?
If true, then I'll want a PS4 sooner rather than later!
Exactly, this will make console gaming and PC gaming better~ Although I think PC will benefit the most from this. I've always been a PC gamer first, console gamer second.
For now I have a PC that I've been very pleased with over the years, and a Wii U. Though I actually own all of the last gen consoles too because of the exclusives that might miss my PC. That said, I can't wait to see PCs get the optimization they deserve!
Game on.
Been drinking the Koolaid son? Xbox One and Wii U are both next gen. In fact by your definition, Wii U is more next gen than PS4(Which it isn't) since it has the most games running at 1080p/60fps.
To those that disagreed. The reason there was such a huge jump from Uncharted 2 to Uncharted 3 is because the cell architecture was so painfully difficult to understand that it took nearly 2 years for developers to start learning how to get the hang of it(optimizing programming for the SPUs to properly to take over post processing). Right off the bat, programmers know the tricks. So there will definitely not be the same kind of jump. This is the first generation of what we see now is pretty m...
This might be the first time we don't get a huge jump(like Uncharted to Uncharted 2) during a console generation because developers are already familiar with the x86 architecture of these systems. I'm guessing Uncharted 4 will pretty much be its peak.
People keep taking like the Wii U is already dead. It's only been a year, and since Nintendo is a software developer, even if they didn't have any more third party support(which wouldn't happen anyway) they would still have a compelling library. Nintendo only sold about 20 units of both the N64and the GameCube, and they've persisted in making profit. By the way, to the people that seem to misunderstand: Nintendo still posted a net profit for the fiscal year. They only posted a...
Speak for yourself. I loved the Wii's many gems, and I'm really enjoying my Wii U to boot. It's a shame it's not doing better!
The Steam OS is free for anyone that already has a PC. So... I'll be dual booting with this~
1) Steam OS hasn't even been released yet.
2)This is proof positive that console gamers do not in the slightest understand what a steam machine is, and what it represents. THIS IS NOT A CONSOLE!!!! It is simply a more accessible gaming PC.
3)How insecure are console gamers? And why do they seem so threatened by the approach of a potentially more accessible PC gaming platform?
Both. HD remakes for the more illustrious titles, and virtual console for the rest.
See, the thing is, PCs can be used for many different things besides gaming, and Most PC gamers aren't spending that much. I built a really high end unit back in 2010 for about $1000, and it still runs games better than PS4. The only reason my unit cost so much was because I bought multiple hard drives and an SSD. And the amount of money I've saved by purchasing games through steam instead of buying console games more than makes up for the extra cost. Besides, I don't have to buy ...
This is late. It has already been confirmed to be a Gamestop Italia website bug.
I've done my part.
How could there possibly be not one game that interests you? I already have 20 Wii U games.
Only trolls and fanboys want to believe otherwise. They'll take anything they can to trash talk the Wii U.
Because of the subscription, maybe. But the M rating? No. Most of the people that play M rated games are middle school boys looking for a thrill, needing to feel like they are "mature."
I doubt it. The game has been in development for Wii U for far too long for the game to just be up and cancelled.
I remember when the 3DS was "dead," and Nintendo with them. Now the system has really shaped up to being something incredible.
Now that the positive is out of the way...
I want SNES games on the 3DS' virtual console!!!
