Hopefully, they start becoming a profitable company again. I'd hate to see the PlayStation go away. Though, more likely it would end up being sold off to another company. ...that's a horrible thought. Now I'm going to have nightmares.
Actually this can greatly affect games. Sony can't seem to stop hemorrhaging money. At least they are finally making a step in the right direction by going with relatively cheap but efficient hardware that can be sold for a profit.
You could... but the widescreen fix for dolphin is really hit or miss, Mario 64 and Zelda 64 in HD doesn't update the textures or the poly count like the 3DS Ocarina of Time 3D remake did.
Wii games on the other hand are great on Dolphin, provided you can get the settings just right.
I don't see how my calling you out automatically equates to having not have "read better."
Sony wasn't relying on the past, and Nintendo isn't relying on the past either.
They are simply doing as Sony has done. Capitalizing on previously successful games.
And Geez, Nintendo has released how many remakes? 3? Sony has released how many? I would actually have to think really hard about that one.
Nintendo makes one ...
Says the guy with a Metal Gear Solid 2 avatar. A game that was released on the PS2, the updated for the PS2, Xbox, and PC. then re released again as an HD remaster for PS3, Xbox 360, and Vita.
Dream on!
Totally. All the PS4 Sony fanboys are only drawn to bad Nintendo news. If they comment on something like this, then they can't pretend it doesn't exist.
Loved this game. Very epic. Especially the final boss~
What wrong with remakes? Obviously remakes would be outsourced to other companies while Nintendo's own studios would be business as usual.
Bring it.
$60 as a set price, plus the cost of subscription is though. Even with all the "free" games, Steam is still a lot cheaper. Plus you're required to pay $60 for games that can't even be modded, and then you're charged more for DLC which never finds it's way on sale either.
Also, to upgrade from "last gen" GPU to a "current gen GPU) would probably only cost about $180. Which is still cheaper than 400. The person who buys the GPU over the...
This was an amazing game, and is one of the most under rated titles of the generation. This was my 2010 pick for game of the year.
I have no idea why you got disagrees. You simply stated a fact. A very cool and interesting fact, at that. I just gave you an agree to try to soften the blow. lol
I fail to understand why someone would disagree with something like this. So... it's better to be a fanboy locked to one platform?
Someone disagreed, so I suppose they don't want the price of software to come down. Well now, that's just silly.
Assassin's Creed IV was definitely very fun... but I don't know. I think I might be done with the series. III had a nice kind of finality to the ending, and the outside the animus story in IV just didn't go anywhere fast. Well... it was a good run. Time to move on.
PCs don't need to be upgraded every so often unless you want to constantly push the envelope. I'm sick and tired of people using this excuse. Developers are constantly pushing the envelope, but just because they are, doesn't mean that you need to upgrade with them. That's why you can adjust the settings to your liking. Or let the game determine its most optimal settings as they generally do upon start up.
Anyway, if you are content with games looking like PS4...
Probably not. But hopefully they end up bringing the absurd prices of console gaming down.
Pretty much. Couldn't have said it better myself.
As do I Korde11.
