Metroid Dread 3DS anyone???
WOW. Where does that hate come from anyway?
Well, you know, back in the day, a lot of gamers refused to play NES because it had this confounded thing called a D-pad. It wasn't the joystick everyone was used to. Gotta' stop the hating and go with the flow. Like water man.
Actually, Stateside and in Japan, the game has been performing pretty well. Also, Wii game sales from core franchises seem to have long legs.
Case in point... That's not proof of anything. Personally I feel sorry for people that can't look past the system's power to enjoy the truly unique experiences that only the Wii provides. Oh well, ignorance is bliss I suppose.
I personally like the change. Still, I'm still pining for Metroid Dread to come to fruition. That's the purely 2D Metroid game we've been waiting for.
Who cares that it's bundeled with Wii sports and Wii sports resort, most consoles don't include any game anyway.
By the way, Wii Sports while drunk with friends is freaking awesome!
Can't see myself playing it sober though.
I think the game controlled brilliantly.
Had there been no slow mo for switching to first person mode, I believe that the game would have lacked. But, t'was not the case.
Picking an HD console after being with the Wii is a tough decision. There's a lot of the same on the PS360. Personally, I went with the 360 first. Later I got a PS3. I love the PS3 with Uncharted 1 and 2, and God of War 3, and such, but I honestly use the system more to download media from my PC, and watch Bluray movies more than games. Still, looks like more developers are going to start using the PS3 more as the lead console for multiplatform development, so PS3 is going to be the bette...
You have a point.
SD resolution is actually only 640X480. But the Wii's native resolution is 854x480. Significantly more pixels in the horizontal resolution.
Still, truth be told, it is neither SD nor HD. Wii's 480p is considered something in between. ED or Enhanced Definition.
Still, regardless of what PS360 gamers beleive. The Wii is part of the HD generation.
Agreed on the being ok to compare graphics. But, you need to get your facts strait. Wii is current generation. It may just be a drop in the bucket compared to PS360, however, it's still capable of all the same graphical bells and whistles(graphical texture/lighting effects), just with significantly lower resolution, polygon count, and texture complexity. It is a totally all together different beast than a PS2. It's at least 5X more powerful than a PS2. Although, because of multiplatfo...
lolz
I don't know. I really liked Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.
Loved the second one even more of course.
It's looks pretty similar though considering. Spiderman 2099 looks way better though in the HD versions. Still, good effort. Wish more developers tried that hard on the Wii.
I'm actually really glad to add that extra pizazz to the mix. I loved Twin Snakes. The only issue I had, is I kinda missed the original Sniper Wolf theme. However, the new music was a lot more movieish. So, I don't really have any complaints. The original is still accessible, so...
I still think that remaking games is good for introducing the younger generation of gamers to classic games. Heck young gamers everywhere will soon get a chance to play Ocarina of Time on 3DS!
Totally forgot about that. Almost everyone I know had a PS2 crap out on them. Heck, just getting mine to run a game is a frustrating experience at best....
Wonder if we'll ever get the triforce again.... Maybe in Ocarina of Time 3D????
Anyway, it's absolutely brilliant how Miyamoto decided to go ahead with Zelda even though people said it was too hard, because he counted on the fact that gamers talked to each other, and with their knowledge pooled together, could conquer the game~!
Still haven't beat it. :(
I did tell him he's an idiot actually. Anyway. he did finally move on. Took him 6 consoles though.
Wonder why people agreed and disagreed with what I said.... I wasn't stating an opinion.... Just an observation.
Maybe it was the luck thing?
Well, it's more like Microsoft's poor quality control.
Still... games are good so...
I'd actually really like to try it out. I've loved Jennifer Hale in everything she's been in so...
Now I feel like an idiot having just bought SOC for PS2 only a short while ago. Well, gonna' have to get this as well.
