That's just unreasonable, dude.
How does not dying once make one any more hardcore? I play Mass Effect 2 on the insane setting, and I die often, but that doesn't make me any less hardcore.
Also, Zelda is not an action game.
Metroid: Other M however, is. So, I challenge /you/ to then play Other M on hard mode without dying once.
See what I did there?
It's stupid to say who's hardc...
Loved this game. Was a blast to play, and loved the story. Still trying to track down last few items. Trying to track down the final items in Main sector is killer though. Just can't figure out how to access them!
It's mostly only the younger folk that don't acknowledge the Wii as a dedicated fan. If you're an older gamer who has been playing since the arcade and NES days, you're pretty dedicated. Zelda, and Metroid fans are perhaps the most dedicated gaming fans out there.
I own all 3 consoles, however, because I'm a huge Metroid/Zelda/retro game fan, I am most dedicated to the Wii. I can't get those franchises, nor any of the original Mario games on any other...
That's too bad. Different strokes for different folks though, right? Can't be helped.
No RE 2 or 3 love???? Even though they were just PS1 ports....
It's not an overclocked gamecube. However, it IS indeed based on the same architecture. So, if you don't mean in the literal sense that it is an overclocked gamecube, then you would be correct. But only because it's based on the same CPU and GPU architecture. It is however, quit the beast compared to the gamecube. The best comparison would be Super Mario Sunshine vs Super Mario Galaxy. Last time I checked, if I overclocked my PC, I wouldn't be able to see that big of a differe...
Last time I checked, back in the end of 2008, Sony put a patent on running the emotion engine on the cell processor.
I feel like a lot of people forget, that one of the best features of the Wii, is it's 100% gamecube backwards compatibility. Sweet awesomeness!!!!
Looks fun~
Wonder if we'll ever see a clear gameplay video of the single player on Wii.
I've heard about them messing with the formula for the controls from the first one, which is a shame, because they were brilliant. So, I'm not suring about getting the second one for Wii... Gonna have to wait and see. However, might have to go with the 360 version if this game doesn't shape up to be what I'm looking for.
Funny. Bubbles for you!
Oh Rare. What happened? I thought we had something special!
Get your facts strait lad.
Update
Just beat it. It was awesome.
Agreed. I'm at the end now, and I've been loving the game.
From the reviews, I was expecting there wasn't any backtracking at all, and that the cutscenes were overly invasive. But playing the game I find this isn't the case at all. If anything, I wish there a few more cutscenes. And I'm relieved that I've been able to backtrack and pick up a lot of forgotten upgrades!
Just ordered NMH 2 from Amazon. Really looking forward to playing it!!!

That's true because the sensor bar is not a sensor bar at all!! It's just a line of lights that emit only in the infrared spectrum, which the Wii remote reads and interprets.
However, it's because of this that the Wii remote reacts(for pointer control) faster. The playstation eye reads the move controller and then move playstation interprets both the eye and the move. But the Wii remote does interpreting so it sends signals dire...
Who cares. The game was mediocre at best. Being on 360 does not change that. You PS3 fanboys need to get over yourselves.
This is just offensive.
Game was already well into production before the xbox version was announced. If the PS3 version was affected by the xbox development, then the xbox version would have been in HD as well. It was a quick and cheap port. That's all there is too it. Did the port of Call of Duty World at War for Wii in any affect the quality of the Xbox and PS3 versions? Nope.
And regarding the gameplay? Square Enix is just not the same company I fell in love with during the Super Nintendo an...
I've found by the way, you can totally run the game as though it were designed to be widescreen by just using zoom on the t.v., and then using a combination of the vertical adjust on the t.v. and in game settings to make it work. The whole bottom part of the screen really isn't that necessary. Although, you can't see the items you have equipped, you can totally see the items as you select them.
