Really? I can't believe people disagreed with what I said. It wasn't an opinion. It's a fact.
If you start Mass Effect 2 without playing Mass Effect 1, then the game takes the ending where you allowed the council to die, and Udina is the only counsel member.
Also, you have no control over who survives the mission on Virmire. Furthermore, you won't have any idea how awesome Garrus is.
And Urdnot Wrex? He can die in the f...
And it's all because devs all assumed that the Wii was doomed for failure in the beginning. So no one even tried. Of course by the time devs noticed it was selling like crazy, lots of folk tried to jump on the band wagon, although still refused to put their money where there mouth was. By this time though, a lot of gamers had already lost faith in the Wii, especially with the touting of "hardcore" gamers declaring the Wii to be a lesser console incapable of playing "real&qu...
That's not true at all, it's a shame for PS3 gamers, because, in Mass Effect 2 you use the story you helped the shape with the decisions you've made in Mass Effect. I've heard that if you start Mass Effect 2 without a Mass Effect 1 save file, you get all the worst decisions made from the first game incorporated into Mass Effect 2.
Dude. That comment is uncalled for. Does it make you feel good to try make people angry. It didn't really bother me, but, dude, it doesn't matter!!!! Most of the good games are multiplatform anyway. Some people prefer Uncharted 2 over Halo, some people the opposite. People have different tastes. Some people may even just prefer the feel of the 360 controller over the DS3. Some people would never give up the DS3. My point is that calling people out like that is uncalled for, and you sh...
As a person who purchased a Wii before either my xbox or PS3, I can safely say, I would definitely prefer Move over DS3.
Try playing Resident Evil 4 Wii edition, and then try going back to the PS2/Gamecube game. It's not possible. I remember playing Dead Space, and being frustrated with the analog stick aiming. Of course I got used to it, but pointer controls are clearly superior. Now that move in in the mix, I'm gonna change my preorder from the 360 version to the PS3 version. And, I'm not looking back!
After playing Resident Evil 4 and Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii, I safely say, I would be most interested in Killzone and SOCOM with Move!
Another rail shooter? Come on Ubisoft! Watch it fail like EA's Dead Space Extraction. Yet again, the Wii gets the shaft! Congratulations Ubisoft! You're part of the problem.
Doom 3 scared me a lot back in the day,as did Dead Space. But, that was more like surprise sacres. Scared just the same though. The scariest game I've ever played was Fatal Frame 4, though. Silent Hill 1, in the school always freaked me out too, though.
@Heisenberg
Can't take a simple apology? There was no between the lines there. I was earnest in my apology.
Either bluray, holographic data storage, a patent that Nintendo has. Look it up!
Holographic data storage might not make it to next gen either though...
Either way, I'm betting that if anything, their next system will sport graphics better than PS3, but will likely lag significantly behind what PS4 and Xbox 720 will provide. Still, hopefully next generation will at least be close enough graphically, as to allow better multiplatform development between...
Really? Drop gamecube support? Really? I don't know about you, but I love popping Windwaker, Eternal Darkness, and Tales of Symphonia every now and then. That's like hoping that PS4 drops PS2 support. Oh wait, PS3 did that with every console revision since the first.... besides the 80gb model.
@Heisenberg
No. You're absolutely right. It was perhaps rash of me to make such a judgment. You are totally entitled to speak your opinion freely, and without fear of negative comment/feedback. I apologize.
@deadreckoning666
You are totally right. The proof is in how many people disagreed with your comment. Normal equal minded folk wouldn't really have even cared about what you said.
I wasn't sure about the site being dominated by PS3 fanboys, but the more articles I read, and the more comments I read, the more I realize.... we need a level cap on fanboys. All fan boys. But here specifically... PS3 fanboys. Scratch that... ALL fanboys. lol
As awesome as that is, I'm gonna' pass. I just really don't like the look of the game. It doesn't look like the anime. Raging Blast 1 looked amazing, although the game was not as good as the tenkaichi Wii games.
Tenkaichi 3 Wii was freaking amazing, save for the retarted lack of 16:9 support. Doing the motions for all of the moves just felt... oh so right! KA ME HA ME HAAA!!! Oh, and thank goodness for the inclusion of the original Japanese audio. I've ...
Totally true on the Pokemon bit. People who think there is no depth to it, obviously haven't played enough of it. Pokemon is the only rpg where at the 80 hour mark, you're just getting started. I can't remember my playtime on the original, but on Pokemon Leaf Green for GBA, I logged about 160 hours!
Totally. Remember Ensemble studios??? Age of Empires, Age of Mythology? After they made Halo Wars, Microsoft pulled the plug on the studio.
That's bs. That's what DLC is for!!!
I personally, love the direction. It's ok to have one game heavy on exposition and story. Plus, it's about time Samus got fleshed out.
Perhaps one day, the denizens of Hyrule will speak! But not Link... I think he's done well as a telepathic mute. :P
Anyway, with my hands on with the game, I really liked the perspective, contrary to what the author says. Prime was a little weird at first, being first person and all, but in the end, it was a r...
Finally beat that game a few hours ago!
