Totally, good games get good sales. Unfortunately not always the case. Here's lookin' at you "Beyond Good and Evil". Still, it mostly applies.
Who cares if it that doesn't actually translate into gameplay?
It's like how the God of War III developers were touting the lighting ability of the PS3 to actually adjust to light and dark situations in real time like the human eye. i.e. when you enter a darker room, at first you can't see well, until the virtual eyes adjust. When entering into the light again, things are too bright, until the virtual eyes adjust to the brightness. God of War III actually did th...
Dude. Think they are referring to Wii motion plus. That's all that really counts anyway.
Samus. Greatest bounty hunter ever.
I still think that best of 2010 is either Mass Effect 2, God of War III, or Super Mario Galaxy 2. hmmm....maybe I'll give the edge to Mass Effect 2? The DLC has been incredible. I'm really looking forward to the Shadow Broker DLC!
@NoOoB101
Don't forget about NES, Super Nintendo, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, Wii, Wonderswan color, and PC☆
I can't believe that so many people disagreed with that. What you said wasn't even an opinion. Just a fact. It's only natural, PS3 is newer tech. Sure it doesn't make incredibly big leaps and bounds of a difference over the Xbox, but an exclusive PS3 title will always have the upper hand.
It's like if I build the best computer I can, and then my buddy waits a year to put together the best he can. Naturally his computer is going to be better than mine. I...
Finally!
Hopefully, the d pad stays in the same place.
This is a must have for me. I've been looking at a lot of 3rd party options for just that reason lately. But, I'd much rather have a 1st party controller.
Now If only I can get a more ergonomically designed ps3 controller with the analog stick in the gamecube/xbox position. Although.... for games like Super Street Fighter 4, I really prefer the Dpad just where it is.
Goldeneye is overated now, but not back then. I loved Goldeneye too. Goldeneye meant countless hours spent every weekend with my friends and I kill eachother.
I still have people tell me that Goldeneye is the best console shooter ever, and that it's way better than a lot of games these days. Well, I think that time has clouded their judgement, because the pre dual analog stick setup just doesn't feel intuitive.
Goldeneye though, still holds a spot...
I totally agree. Ever since that interview, think it was on IGN? I can't remember.
But he was asked something to the effect of, Do you and your team come up with your ideas together, and what types of meetings do you have?
His response was something to the effect of, "Oh, no one has any ideas, ever. It's all me. me me me me me. I do everything. They do what I say. They don't have any ideas at all. la la la la la♪"
Well, some...
If only it could run on Wii homebrew...
That's fair enough. Finally some decent fair conversation on N4G.
I see what you mean now. It's true enough.
So the two people who disagreed with me would spend or ask their friends to spend 100-200 on 3d glasses just for movie nights? That's like 500-1000 for only five more people. You guys must be loaded, or have friends who are~
The game is not a prequel, although much of the games story is from before she became a bounty hunter.
And in regards to her taking orders. Samus is often employed under the Galactic Federation. In fact Samus was following orders from the guys in the federation in Metroid Prime 3 as well. Furthermore, look at Solid Snake. Cool badass in his own rite. He's not under Colonel Campbell's command anymore, but you better believe out of honor and respect for his former com...
I wanna see a vote. Agree or disagree.
If everyone you ever knew was killed, would you or would you not be dealing with intense psychological trauma?
Agree= Yes
Disagree= No
By the way, this is a trick question. If you disagree, then you're lying to yourself. No one escapes that kind of trauma and stays a perfectly mentally sound.
Exhibit A:Batman
Exhibit B:The Punisher
Honestly.. I don't think so.
Tell me... if you're parents were killed, are you saying you wouldn't have issues? And then, are you saying that if the Chozo people who then adopted you were all killed, and everyone you ever knew died, you wouldn't have even more issues?
Just because she is a super badass, doesn't mean that she is dealing with some serious demons. In fact, it's those demons that helped to make her the super badass she is. Think...
Last time I checked, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night for PS1 had topless enemies too.
I'd be on board if the glasses weren't so expensive. I frequently have movie parties at my house with 5-15 people over.
I'm not going to spend all the extra money for my guests, and I'm not going to ask them to throw down either.
When glassesless 3D displays become available, and Toshiba and Microsoft are developing ones that are, then I'll be on board~
Hip Hip Hazzah! For Super Metroid! Truly one of mankind's finest!
I'm sick of places not including the prime series in the timelines, calling it a separate thing when the whole thing happens between Metroid and Metroid 2. It's just not directly involved with the Samus Metroid baby story arc. Teh Lame!
Afterall, Retro was making those games for 7 years. That's about 1/3 of Metroid's existence.
