You're absolutely right. I just have a soft spot for that epic World War II feeling.
The gameplay does look pretty fun. Plus, any disappointment I felt with Halo 3's visuals have been quickly put out of the picture this time around. What a great looking game!

I love the service. Love it a lot more than XBLA and PSN. Although love some of the PS1 selections on PSN. Still, I have all of the Resident Evil games ever released on Gamecube, so I can even use my Wii for that. The rerelease of Perfect Dark on XBLA was great too, though.

I was there for Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake, Unreal, Unreal Tournament, Goldeneye, Halo. So, I think that I've got some perspective. It's time for something new. Something a little more engaging. Maybe a better story. Currently my favourite current FPS games are probably Bioshock, Call of Duty World at War, Red Steel 2, and Metroid Prime 3...although that's technically an FPA.

That's ok I guess. It's too bad though. There are a lot of great titles out there for Wii, but if if you're willing enough to sift through the 90% crap also available on the system. Th great Wii titles are true diamonds in the rough.

I'm totally ADHD with my games, always starting another one without finishing the one before. Heck I haven't beaten Castlevania III and I've had that since 1991. Have it on Virtual Console now too. Still haven't beat it!
Anyway, I just beat Uncharted 2, and loved the game to death. Can't wait until Uncharted 3(assuming it's coming...)!
