Hoping for something really interesting that continues support of wiimote plus~
Seriously! Maybe not 6... but 2 or 4 maybe. The biggest problem developers have with all 3 of the current gen consoles is they have almost noooooooooo ram! Granted they don't need as much because they don't need to run Windows or OS-X, but still. More ram please!!!!
Yeah! They really should have included a classic controller with the Wii bundle to support more traditional style games! Here's hoping they do so with the new console~!!!!

I really prefer the feel Wii remote/nunchuck combo... It just needs more buttons!!!!!! put an X and Y buttons near the A button. And put an L3 style button on the analog stick.
I like the comfort of not having to keep my hands so close together. Of course there are some games that I play with classic controller hands down(because a second analog stick=awesome), like Last Story(imported), and Monster Hunter 3. I couldn't imagine playing No More Heroes, Red Steel 2 or any F...
I really hope that it will use a controller similar to the wii remote, but with maybe a couple extra buttons. I really love holding the two controllers in the most lazy way possible(does not apply to games that use IR)~

I really hope Sony introduces a program to send in UMD discs and then be given a code to download the titles on PSN(like they said they were going to do with PSP Go). If they do that.... NGP will be a day one for me!!!!!! I have so many PSP games that I want to continue to be able to play on my(future) NGP~

This is a very fairly written article. You gotta' be pretty biased to call it "trollish." He's just making claims based on historical evidence which is what any good analyst does.
PSP wasn't a failure though. Anything handheld that can actually stand toe to toe with Nintendo and keep right on going, is a winner in my book. I hope the NGP heats up the competition, because the competition is really gonna' give us better games for bo...

Last time I checked one doesn't need a constant supply of games per year to make it good. Just a few really great ones. And the Wii has that in spades.

Worst year ever? The year has barely begun. It is a shame yes, that said games have been shelved. However, Wii gamers still have a lot to look forward to. Namely Conduit 2 , The Grinder, Zelda, Xenoblade Chronicles, and likely Last Story as well. Remains to be seen whether or not a localization of Pandora's Tower will occur this year.
It is pathetic though. It's a catch 22. Developers are afraid to put their money where their mouth is and spend the money market a game...
I was soooo excited when I hear EA was making a Dead Space game for Wii. And then I heard it was going to be a rail shooter.... because that's more in line with the "wii audience." I was so angry! I had my first 2 streetpass activations today, and was totally stoked at them! Even though they were only Miis. It makes it funner to bring my system with me~

I don't agree with some of the comments regarding motion control, I really think they made a better control scheme. FPSs on Wii felt amazing!(Except the first Red Steel. That was terrible! Bounding box extended all the way to the edge? That's stupid!)
