Badly reviewing the device seems a little dumb.... I mean, just the backwards compatibility alone gives the device access to one of the greatest libraries of all time.
It'll soon have access to both DSi ware, and the eshop.

So true. Xbox really set up the model for what the online(console) gaming experience should be like.
...they need to lower the price on the service though. I have too much trouble justifying it when I also own a Wii, PS3, and a pretty high end gaming PC.

I love Nintendo. But, I'm going to go out on a limb and say, no. Although, I think that it will be a lot more successful system overall due to software sales!

It's possible if the system is releasing Q2 2012. Won't be so old, and might include the first DLC packs.
By the way, really hoping that I can run the game on the settings shown in the trailer. Anyone know what specs it's going to take to run that thing? Or rather, what the system running the game was using?

A game console just won't have to multi task as much as a pc.
My PC is running anti spyware, anti adware, anti virus, WINDOWS, skype, yahoo, AIM, Live messenger, apple stuff, steam, creative labs stuff, and lots lots more. Consoles just won't ever have to run that much at the same time.
Anyway, I do think that if it is only 512 shared, they are being idiotic.

Unless that 512 is dedicated system ram or dedicated vram.
Afterall the xbox is is I believe 512 shared, and the PS3 is 256 for each.
So, if there is 512 system ram, and then another 512 vram, it could be more than enough. After all, these are consoles we're talking about not PCs. So, everything is waaaaaaaaay more optimized.
