We need a meme pic with Boromir.
I can't believe there are still people that don't like the motion controls in Skyward Sword. When one experiences something having already made up their mind, whether they are conscious of that pre formed opinion or not, one becomes numb to the joys that new experiences have to offer.
Besides, aren't excellent motion controls what every kid from the 80's dreamed about! I know I did!
Admittedly there are games where motion feels forced or, wor...
I think that's the point of the comment. People have different tastes. By the way, the director of the game himself I believe stated that he wanted people to stop comparing the games, because even though they share many of the same elements, the games really can't be compared. Zelda is Zelda, and Darksiders is Darksiders.
I think they'd be stupid not too. Activi$ion like Micro$oft loves the cashola more than any kind of self respect.
I realized that after I wrote it. I thought to myself... am I being sarcastic? It kind of makes sense. Heck I might try to do something like that if I had the power. :P
It's like a big joke. Just for yourself.
You have to understand. Bioware made this whole series to slap it's fans in the face. Probably started as a joke a few years ago, then it became an actual game. They want to be the author of their own destruction, so they did this to lose as many fans as possible. /sarcasm/
Actually often you could. Because back then artists often painted for their patrons. Whoever their patrons were at the time, and if a work wasn't to the patrons liking, it would be altered.
You can alter works while maintaining artistic integrity. Keeps the soul, change the details. Artists deal with that all the time.
Sad but true. Especially this generation, and among younger gamers in their teens and early twenties. If more gamers cared about gameplay, there would have been more people playing some of the great games on Wii like No More Heroes/2, Xenoblade, Muramasa, etc.
Someone disagreed?
This article was totally written to bash Sony. Or to get hits. Both devices are great, and will have lots of excellent software.
To be fair though, 3DS has been out longer.
On another note...
Lufia for DS was a reimagined remake of the my favourite SNES game, Lufia II. Only it's soul was viciously torn from it, and the charm sucked from it.
The 3D effect doesn't have permanent effects, there is simply eye strain during the honeymoon period when your brain is learning how to interpret the images as 3D. Myself and a number of user experienced some eye strain while first using the system, but after about a week of play through, I can look at it like I look at my 3DTV with glasses.
This is just total flame bait.
I don't think anyone has ever even tried to defend the story. I don't think people are playing that game for that reason. Fun game by the way.
Honestly, if they don't want to lose more customers in the jump to the next generation, they should really think about lowering their price.
That'd be awesome. Allow support for DS/DSi/3DS, as well as the main controller support.
That's stupid on their part, and before stupid on Nintendo's part. Nintendo is trying really hard to deal with 3rd party devs now. Though Nintendo's 40MB limit on games is completely idiotic. Though this was abolished with the 3DS already.
But not to turn down many potential sales for problems in the past with an older console is, while understandable, also idiotic.
Oh Lair. Had that game never been made, we might have a Rogue Squadron 4, and Factor 5 might still be around. Sad Pandas.
It's not even a rumor. It's just speculation.
It's really sad how many developers are just totally anti-Nintendo. They're responsible for the cycle. 3rd parties don't support Nintendo, so when 3rd parties try, people don't buy the games on the Nintendo platform, because 3rd parties generally don't support Nintendo.
Anyway, this is really stupid of developers, because it's not a lot of work to get games running on the Wii U, and they are missing out on sales. Heck, almost all of the Wii Call of Du...
