PSNow has both streaming and download. It also boasts the largest collection of games. You could say the “Netflix of games” is already here. Having said that I DO NOT want them to deminish the importance of game releases as that will hurt game quality imo.
I think they have to do that to stay afloat in the online shopping era. I don’t trade in but if I do I accept the cost of convenience. Other than that I love them for the experience. I like having a dedicated game store. It’s part of the experience of being a gamer for me. I will miss them when they are gone.

Same here. They’ve shown that their consoles are a must buy, you get your money’s worth and then some. I never hesitate to buy a PlayStation because I know I won’t be disappointed regardless of how well other consoles sell. They deliver pure and simple, no waiting for “next year to be the year”.
They are building them in a way to prepare for the future. That’s why their models could be rendered in 8K even.
I don’t think this was a diss of Rockstar or even the game, he is pointing out something that he feels underwhelms or is ineffective because player choice/creativity in his opinion are too high a price to pay just so a cutscene can make sense. He is saying player choice should be given priority and the story has to be implemented so it doesn’t take that away.

I don’t think you’ve read the article. Let me break it down for you. If they choose from a larger install base, that larger pool of people will have more casuals. Do you understand? It’s pretty simple.
Halo? Halo is great but it’s not even the best game in its own genre. I think you are living in the past.
And by the way, I would take Firewall over any number of FPS multiplayer’s including halo. In fact, It’s WAY better than halo mp.

No it’s actually because the console with the larger install base has a higher chance of being represented by a casual. There are more hardcore gamers on PlayStation just based on the fact that there are more PlayStation gamers.
It’s not because of your perceived online focus (Toatally false btw since PS4 has more multiplayer games than xbox). It’s because the smaller Xbox install base makes it more likely that a gamer will represent Xbox. Pretty sure with PlayStation having a 3 to 1 install base, the majority of pro gamers have PlayStations. But they are less likely to be picked from the larger pool. Simple no? That’s why you should study hard. (Also so China doesn’t kick our ass)

It’s only because the smaller base on Xbox makes it more likely that a selected representative is a gamer and not a casual. There could be a higher number of hardcore gamers on PlayStation but if the sample group includes casuals, then you will get a lower average score. Math is power.

Except it’s very obvious why these results are meaningless. There is a larger player base on PlayStation. So out of 10 people selected there is bound to be some casuals. The smaller sample size to choose from on Xbox means you are more likely to pick a gamer. In other words it’s a meaningless test for gullible people.
