A glove like devise would be so cool for VR. Just imagine.
@cf83
Yeah, they will license their tech to others as implied in the article. Although, in the same way that Sony’s ownership of music publishing studios allows Sony to reserve amazing music/soundtrack for its exclusives, this will benefit their own exclusives in the same way.

Confused?
Lol it was a glitch I only posted once but it got stock so I clicked it again and left the site. Came back and it’s posted twice. Sorry
I think some must have blamed me for the double post so they liked one and disliked the second. Lol
I think Sony already IS one of the major players (if not the biggest) in VR related tech. They developed their own VR headset (which they even license to 3rd party), and they make their own VR games. So, I’m pretty sure they don’t need to outsource motion tracking solution companies. I could be wrong of course because technology advances so quickly that sometimes acquisition is needed to acquire patented technology that you can’t wait for, or that is so well developed that creating alternativ...
This is a bigger news than acquisition of a mere dev studio. These guys lend their engine to tons of developers. They are one level above a game studio in the chain. Sort of like the difference between a restaurant and the grocery store.
Music/soundtrack has always been a bright spot for PlayStation exclusives considering that Sony is one of,if not the major music studio in the world. This seems right up their valley. Looks like they are positioning themselves well to capitalize on their strengths.
Note that they will allow this studio to work cross platform with others, if I read that correctly.

Haha I meant the model. Or any jet really. After I asked I figured you meant you’ve flown (is flown a word?) it in games.
Lol Why? Because I called you on your lie? You thought metacritic reviews games huh?
Also, you say you are a “PlayStation guy”? Did you know we can see your comment history? Strange, all of your comments are leaning toward Xbox... the extent some people go to, so sad.
What? Who do you think reviews the games on metacritic? You think metacritic does reviews?
And then there is the issue of your lie that you do reviews for them... lol damage control much? And you call others “jeleous sensetive little patsies”?
“In recent years, Microsoft has moved away from developing exclusive games for the Xbox One, instead releasing many of its titles on PC as well. While this move has likely been appreciated by PC gamers, others have criticized it as giving people little reason to actually buy an Xbox One over its competition.”
Even if you are an Xbox-only gamer, you should not support MS doing this, the caviate being that you are also a “console” gamer. These types of moves by MS will have l...
The best games I’ve played every generation have been PlayStation exclusives. Not that Multies don’t fall in that group, but when you look back at the greatest games that define the whole generation, it’s made up of a disproportionate number of PlayStation only games.
@Colbertinator
Wow, I HOPE you are sarcastic.
Do you actually fly these??
There is no way they would drop VR. It’s been the best thing separating this generation from the previous. VR is only getting bigger from here on out as the games are showing. All I know is that I will never look at FPS the same after playing Firewall. VR is the most exciting thing in gaming. Dont compare it to milo please, this thing actually works, and it’s amazing.
You should play a little outside your comfort zone. Firewall will blow your socks off.
A little after the PS5 I think. But yes. And I can’t wait.
@krib
You sound like you want dedicated consoles to lose to phones and tablets.
But I also disagree, the Switch’s success shows that people prefer dedicated gaming devices. For example I have 6 games downloaded to my tablet. I only play one of them, and I’ve regrettably have paid them for micro transactions on 5 occasions, each time costing 2.99. I believe most people fall into this category. They download games on their tablets and they might even spend the longest time on ...
In VR!!
I wish people would pay more attention to articles like these as opposed to the same old clickbait to get people riled up. Really cool insight into the game here. Pretty hyped for this game.
