Being American has nothing to do with it. MS money is good enough for any of these gaming sites. Sony is as American as the next corporation with its main headquarters in Cali, just like MS.
Because they get their talking points from MS paid advertising articles instead of the reality on the ground.
I think the most innovative thing to hit gaming in a LONG time is Virtual Reality.
Not really. They wanted a system to handle VR. I think the x and it’s price was a last ditch attempt by MS to save this generation from mediocrity. We know how that turned out for them though.
It’s been great so far for me. I’m loving the games and the VR benefits. Playing Firewall alone has been worth the investment. Probably one of the standout moments of this generation.
Buying an X was a stupid move. Both financially, and gaming wise.
For me, it’s been great. Games look better, and then there is the benefits to VR. Makes it a must have for me. I just traded original in and paid a small fee for the Pro. Totally worth it. Besides, TLOU is incoming, so.... yeah
Good luck on your surgery.
Yeah. It should have been the focus of it all. But, you know I’ll take what I can. It’s getting better though as developers get more hands on with VR. For me, the VR aspect makes this a must own, even if it is only 3 missions of awesome VR dogfights.
Bring on the VR headset!
PlayStations tend to sell long after a new generation arrives as they are supported well into start of new generations.
As to PS5 I’m a day one purchaser. I want to be there from the very first minute. But I know there are people who buy consoles once they hit the “magic” $199. They are usually either casual kid gamers whose parents decide what console they will have, or budget gamers. So I think the PS4 will continue to sell for those two reasons.
I eat up Yakuza games. Something about them.
I have to say, the Xbox one controller is a very comfortable controller.
Single player games are games that make us dream. They are the ones that transport you to a different place and tell you a story, even teach you things about yourself, or the important things in life. They will always be an integral part of gaming.
Ace Combat 7 will revive the whole flying genre in VR.
@Neonridr
Not sure you should be taking that tone when PlayStation 4 and not Switch is the clear leader globally. Let’s not miss the forest for the trees here. Other than that I love the Switch personally, but I’m not going to acquire selective memory just to praise it.
Not unless MS pays a ridiculous price to AMD. I don’t think they would want to incur a cost like that at the get go.
Yeah same here. I love what I have seen from the gameplay. Also, I think it says a lot when a developer introduces their game for the first time using their gameplay as the selling point.
Yes Playstion Now has way more titles.
The best thing that’s happening to gaming is VR. not services.
