PS5 will be well positioned for VR next gen, I can’t wait for amazing games in VR. We are already seeing what can be done, and people are impressed, So I’m super stoked for what PS5 will bring to VR.
As to wireless, right now the focus is to get the experience to work as fluid as possible. So I think wireless will be the focus once that is achieved, which means we shouldn’t be expecting it anytime soon.

Oh you know so much about me and the world! Please bestow me with your vast wisdom, I am but a lowly hipster.
She actually had some revealing outfits.
Lol. No thanks I’ve got enough problems in my own life. (:
One of Sony’s biggest advantages is that they already have an established VR base. This means they now 1) have experience, 2) formed relations with VR devs, 3) have an existing install base allowing for leverage for VR exclusives, and last but not least, 4) they can wait until MS finally comes out with a headset before outdoing them with PSVR2. PlayStation is well placed for PS5 generation.
I do hope Sony brings a flurry of awesome VR games to the PS5. I can just imagine the things they will do in VR next.
Because Horizon is telling a story, now you want to add a bunch of other players into the story? Who is going to be Alloy? Or are you suggesting that we put a master chief helmet on her so everybody can feel like they are the hero? Also, don’t get defensive, I simply disagree with your opinion. Personally I’m glad the developers are highly unlikely to think like you on this issue. In my opinion, the game you are describing is a different game, with different mechanics, and a different focus. ...
Yeah I got that from your first comment, and my response was that it wouldn’t be a good idea because that sounds like a completely different game from Horizon. Why go and change the game to something so fundamentally different? Another game can do all those things.
Yes, I think you are unto something. Although I think HZD was a more “direct” role playing game with a smaller, more focused map, so it might be difficult to keep that character of the game while also expanding on the depth of the rpg. Depth requires a much larger map, and side missions etc. but yeah I agree that the side missions should be given more meaning and that only comes with more rewards, thus bigger map/exploration etc.
I would say more “mystery” would give HZD2 a...
Not all games should incorporate things like that. That type of game can be made from scratch so it focuses on those things. No need to add them to a game that is great in a different genere.
You know, I was actually thinking the exact same thing while I posted my last comment. I wondered if a new protagonist would be nice/wise. I could see the benefits and then realized that maybe Alloy couldn’t be left out because she is now “iconic” and it might be unwise to exclude a character that is already established. So, it’s a toss up for me.
New cities with different cultures, even bizzarre ones. Make the world more varied.

It was ok because from the get go Sony’s business model involved making games, they came into the industry, developed relations and bought studios if they could. They didn’t go THREE generations before realizing “oh ok so making games is essential or we are going to look really bad, even though it was beneat us up until now”.
Also, it was ok because they bought studios with a long term plan, and over time, not as an emergency measure after shit hit t...
Sony doesn’t really “announce” this type of thing, they just make games, and when it’s about to release, that’s when most people will hear about the studio’s existence.
You can bet it’s going to be special.
I don’t use them anymore. They really struggle to remain unbiased.
Are you guys forgetting that the famous titles are not the only exclusives on PlayStation? Or are other exclusives not a consideration? People act like there is only Days Gone, etc, there are so many exclusives on PlayStation these days that you lose track of them. Example, I’m very excited for Hong Kong Massacre, are you guys saying that such games don’t count because they are less known titles? How about all the games releasing on VR? Do those don’t count?
@stupidusername
A prevelant misconception among gamers is that PS4’s exclusives are limited to a handful of well known upcoming titles (like Death Stranding, TLOU2, DG, GOT, Dreams, Concrete Genie, etc). But, PS4 has so much more than that as do other consoles of course, but in Playstation’s case it’s even more so, and that’s not even talking about “console exclusives” like games such as Hong Kong Massacre (on PC too?) or all the amazing games coming to PlayStation VR (which are all ...
Me and you can still play what’s they create (;
Ps: like your namer tag
Yeah it’s not the focus right now because there is a long way to go to perfect the experience. Wireless would be great one day, but for now I want them to focus on getting it to work as perfect as possible. Although we are getting all in one headsets now, but I’m not sure how they will turn out.
