with Sony’s in house devs you’re almost always in for a treat, it just comes down to your taste.

Holy crap is this for real? That looks just like PT

This is how MS gets attention. Not much merit, just teases, waits for people to speculate, then tells them about some hyperbole claim. Although they are calling it a “new roadmap” I hope for everyone’s sake that this isn’t some major shift away from consoles.

Yea, I prefer show don’t tell approach. Otherwise anybody can claim anything they want.

There is also a ton that are not included here. This list isn’t conclusive.

2605d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah. Personally I would have included Hong Kong Massacre, as I’m super excited for the over the top action. Also, at least a couple of the numerous upcoming PSVR titles deserved a mention.

Lol seriously. My iPad ran out of juice trying to reach the end.

(: your last sentence is what I’ll pounce on because I agree w almost everything else you said. I DO have something against another contender. I don’t want another contender who is coming to the industry with zero background in gaming/entertainment/art, and whose only incentive is the big profits from what was created by those who built the industry up. Why? Because they are almost certain to contribute very little and divide the available content into more fragments. THIS is why I am adamant...

Yup VR is legit and probably the biggest leap in gaming since 3D. Some of these games are the best experience we’ve had this generation. People who didn’t/haven’t experienced VR properly yet are really missing out this generation.

Sony will just sit back and wait until MS releases a headset, then release a better PSVR2. Next generation PlayStation will have a tromendous advantage because of 4 things:
(1) they gained crucial firsthand experience with VR this generation
(2) got to work with and develop relations with VR devs
(3) being able to wait for the competition to respond to PSVR before coming out with PSVR2
*(4) having an existing install base on VR that will give PlayStation le...

He is a troll guys, he does this to both PlayStation AND Xbox. At least impartial. (:

Not as good as this. And not as fun. Probably. It just wouldn’t be the same game. Personally I love over the top games. Helldivers is still one of my favorite games of this generation but that was also because of amazing couch co-op.

This looks incredible

2607d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

No, MS will make some good games next gen. I’m pretty certain of it. Not going to win against Sony’s studios, but it will be a start.

If they are stupid they can try. I doubt people would want another platform holder. I sure as heck wouldnt buy a console from any of the would-be Corporations that might want in. Hell no.

Opc has a point, but opc I really think that was the nature of MGS being a spy game. It was to some extent intentional. Like a real world spy, you dealt with complicated convoluted scenarios with multiple actors working behind the scenes. I’m sure Death Stranding will retain some of that “mystery” vibe because that’s just Kojima, but it won’t be convoluted like MGS.

Does it have a English translated title?

After watching this in highest res on YouTube (720p only unfortunately), I’m convinced that it will be a great game.

@starchild
I agree with your concern, BUT the problem you allude to didnt start with exclusives. It started with paying for playing online. There was a time you could buy as many consoles you liked and buy as many or as little exclusives you could pick and choose, but as the cost of owning each console goes higher due to recurrent payment plans/services, it becomes less and less feasible to own more than one console.
