Really, RAAM? He's a pushover. Torque bow, lancer, rinse and repeat. Try beating Queen Myrrah on Insane.
Playing FFX HD brought back memories, the amount of farming and grinding required just to survive a few turns against the area conquest monsters or dark aeons is just insane.
The difference is that M$ can afford to throw their money away, Sony cannot.
When it comes to the crunch, M$ has a larger consumer base in terms of users. You can write M$ off all you want but I'd bet my last dollar that you posted that comment on a windows based OS.
Prove me wrong.
I wouldn't bother if I was a PS4 owner- you're not missing out on much.
Most Crytek games are glorified tech demos (no offense Far Cry) and Ryse is no exeption.
This is coming from a woman who voiced one of the most iconic female characters of all time.
Ten years ago a character like Ellie would not have made it onto the drawing board, let alone becoming the star of the show.
I've got 15 reasons why I shouldn't give a $h!t, but I'm not getting paid for my opinions so why should I even bother?
All games are derived from PC's in one way or another. Naughty dog didn't bang two rocks together and come up with TLOU- They used PC's to create it.
Shhhhhhh...don't rock the boat. We can't have anti Sony sentiments on this site.
But when it comes to M$ or the big N then all bets are off.
"it's still a glorified cable box"- Sony fanboys.
Honestly, if Sony can offer the same services then why is M$ being picked on? if they had no games then I can understand the jokes, but the games are coming and we've seen the evidence.
But some fanboys can't stand the fact that M$ is finally getting it's act together and want to kick them when they're still down.
Sincerely,
A Sony owner since 199...
I bet half of that money is spent on GPU's.
I don't understand how people can say PC gaming is on the way out,it seems perfectly fine to me.
The only reason I left PC gaming is because I had to make a choice: either spend 1k in upgrading my rig or buy a PS3 and a 360 for the same price, and I couldn't afford all three. At the end of the day it was the games that spoke so I chose the latter.
I don't regret my decision but I do ...
Who gives a shit?
If PS4 sells well than it's "well deserved" but if the XB1 sells well then it's "BS" and if the Wii-U sells well "it still won't save the Wii-U".
Leave the BS sales figures at the door, The games will determine the winner.
The scoring system is flawed, a lot of reviewers use the scoring system simply to troll the readers and to generate interest. Any hit is a hit after all, it doesn't matter how poor the actual review is.
But it's a two way street, how many times do you see people have knee jerk reactions to a simple score?. TLOU gets a 10 and no one bats an eye, but when it gets a 9 everybody loses their minds.
Maybe games should be reviewed by multiple reviewers and t...
Damn...look at all that juice!
It's interesting that he has been contacted. He could play Cole train the soldier after emergence day, or Cole train the thrashball player during the pendulum wars.
I guess we'll find out when footage finally arrives, and it can't come soon enough.
It doesn't matter what system this game ends up on, from what I've seen you'll get it either way.
As long as I don't have to pour thousands of hours into getting the bare essentials, I'll be happy. Unlike a certain other game I've played *cough cough X2 cough*. Honestly in that game it took me about sixty hours to get a fighter let alone a cruiser, and I ain't got time for that.
What was I talking about again? that's right, No ...
Sony emulated the N64's analog thumbstick, then they emulated M$ achievements. That's hardly innovation.
Of course it will fail, some guy on the internet told me so.
From what I've read the only real complaint is that no one got to play enough of it because of cut scene interruptions, and that can get irritating at times.
But some people say that it's like gears of war and they make it sound like it's a bad thing. The only people who don't like it are people who haven't played it or refuse to like it because it's on Xbox.
...
Geologists rejoice!
It will be a big loss.
If it wasn't for Crytek we wouldn't have Far Cry and we should be thankful for that. And then you've got CryEngine which pretty much raised the bar-hell it set the bar.
And to be honest, the Crysis games were not that bad. Their SP campaigns crap all over what CoD has produced recently.
I'm trying to eat here, please don't make me laugh.
Blame the publishers, not the devs.
All the devs wanna do is make the best product for everyone and it doesn't help when the publishers are hovering over their shoulder shouting "FASTER, FASTER!" and pushing them to make decisions they don't want to make.
Now I know why so many Devs are leaving their parent studios to form their own indies, they are tired of the slave drivers and want to make games at their own pace and by their rules.
His loss, not mine.
True, There will be a ninth generation for sure. But beyond that is uncharted territory.
People are worried about Moores law hitting a brick wall, but that is still a long time away and surely somebody will find a way around it.
