I don't believe the next gen consoles are capable of making the same quantum leap in graphics that their predecessors did. Well not yet anyway.
Sure star wars 1313 and unreal engine 4 look pretty, but it's not the groundbreaking stuff that we've come to expect from next gen consoles.
Besides there's still plenty to enjoy this gen. the last of us, halo 4, watch dogs, far cry 3, gears of war judgement, Crysis 3, GTA V, AC3, etc.
I know it's not survival horror, but F.E.A.R deserves a place on the list.
I also loved the condemned games, It'd be great if they made a third installment.

The only thing i agree on is that CoD is killing off major brands, but you don't need to be a 'anonymous insider' to figure that out.
thankfully it's only a matter of time before The CoD bubble bursts, you can only flog a dead horse so many times before it decomposes.
No gears? no left 4 dead? no borderlands? c'mon. And not a single mention of any free to play multiplayer games on PC.
I might be showing my age but we need more split screen multiplayer. Nothing beats the feeling of flipping the bird to your friend sitting next to you after you've blown his head off.

I totally agree with Lost odyssey being added to the list, But i couldn't disagree more with Blue dragon, I nearly had a stroke when i seen it added to the list.
Blue Dragon is so generically JRPG it's not funny, it does nothing different from other titles in the genre. And the characters are so damn annoying that you don't care about them. Not to mention the boss fight music, it's so f*****g woeful it needs to be heard to be believed.

The day consoles go digital is the day i stop playing them.
I don't want to wait an eternity for a game to download. given my connection speed i could walk downtown, buy a physical copy, walk home and clock the game before i had finished downloading the digital version.
Not to mention servers can go down at the drop of a hat. If the servers did go down at 99% of a download how do you get a refund for that?

I'm sick of HD remakes, it's due to laziness and cost cutting from the developers. Why pay all new writers, programmers, artists, and designers, when for less money you can regurgitate the same games all over again? M$ have already done it with halo; It's only a matter of time before Sony re-issue FF VII, RE 1&2, and so forth.
