As long as people keep falling for these false promises then the publishers will keep pushing them.

Everything they have mentioned has already been implemented before and they talk about them like they're a brand spanking new concept-even the suggested racing line is an old concept.
PC seems to have the making of a solid racer-But so does GT7 and GT is the grandmaster of Racing sims.
If sleeper is slang for "an icebergs chance in hell" then sure its a sleeper for GOTY.
And for that to happen the Witcher 3, Arkham Night, The order and Halo 5 need to be complete duds for Evolve to get a chance, and it would take a sleeper for that to happen.
Hype is part of the problem.
Sites keep spruiking every game like it's a potential GOTY (for obvious reasons) and the moment we get our hands on it we can't help but feel disappointed.
If these writers were more honest and voiced their concerns then maybe, just maybe the publishers would take that criticism into consideration and not release a half assed effort because someone at IGN or elsewhere praises a game well before it's released.

This is just an opinion piece and a poor one at that. The only people bashing the order are the trolls who comment on sites like this, however there are people who have played the game and they have shared their concerns.

The scoring system is flawed-any Joe Average can review a game but at the end of the day most people scroll past the content and look at the scores.
You can't judge a game by the score-but more often than not it's the score that gets the clicks and not the content. If the scoring system was abolished then maybe we'd see some more genuine reviews rather then the amateurish nonsense that is circulating these days.

Any PC gamer will tell you that disabling any non essential functions will improve performance, and Kinect is an non essential function. But decreasing the strain on the CPU does not make it more powerful, just more effective.

Knowing Ubisoft, it will be called 'Far Cry: Hunter' which will be quickly followed up with the sequel 'Far Cry: Justice' and then if we are lucky enough we will see the true successor to far cry 4.
I'm guessing the preorder will be available mid June and will be known as the 'Bug edition' that will include bonus patches and apologies from the publishers.

It doesn't matter what console your prefer, if you are denied the chance to play a game just because another manufacturer wants you to buy their product, then that is just sad and shame on MS and Sony for embracing the idea.

Agreed. Some of the characters were just painful to listen to. Sometimes I think they were designed to be irritating, Like Yogi and Reggie, that awful MC, Longinus...
It's a shame because it's not a bad game, but those characters...yuck.

In Forza 4 I've tweaked my gear ratio, the camber angle, softened the suspension, adjusted the ride height, redistributed drive power in a 4WD, adjusted my brakes to favor the front wheels, tweaked the LSD to reduce understeer, relaxed the tension in the roll bars...
Yeah Forza is totally not a sim.
