You only have to rely on streaming if it's a PS3 game now. If its a PS4 or PS2 game then they can be downloaded to play just like gamepass.

That would most likely be the case considering Amazon US is only going to be restocking essential items until further notice. You can still purchase non-essential items for now until they run out of stock.

I should have been more detailed. I was meaning to store to play the games. Sure you can store a series x game onto the drive. But for what reason? Downloading and installing shouldn't be much slower (depending on your internet) than having it stored externally to transfer it on the system.
Go ahead and do that when the system launches and come back to let me know how that goes. You can use the external to store the games for xbox one but not series x. Read beyond the first sentence next time.

Its going to be like this for the PS5 as well. Its a good thing but also a bad thing since we cant just upgrade with whatever drive we want. The good part is the fact that the speeds of these devices will be much faster than most devices we can currently purchase. You wont want to go back after experiencing the fast loading times.
