Yes they did but only because they were in a lawsuit with the company who provided them with the rumble, so they went with just motion only. But once the lawsuit ended they brought back the rumble and still kept the motion sensors. If that didnt happen, they would have released the PS3 with Dualsock 3 and not just Sixaxis.
Those comparisons are a waste considering the weather/location are not the same between the XB and PS5. PS5 version is overcast/hazy and in a different environment. It's hard to say which is better when lighting being different can make a huge difference.
You didn't just play Ellie. Do you not forget that there was a dog with you during the beginning playing as Abby? Someone who played the game should know this. I don't know the point behind wanting to control the dog, but there was a dog on your side when playing as Abby at one point.
The game wasn't in development for 8 years. The game wasn't even in full development until the end of 2015 early 2016 after they released TW3: Hearts of Stone DLC which came out October 2015. 4-5 years is still no excuse but acting like its been in full development for 8 years is quite exaggerated.
"Senuas Sacrafice was phenomenal and AAA quality but I believe it was only $30."
Yeah and it was a small team (20 out of 100 employees at the time) inside of ninja theory that worked on it with their own internal budget. They had no external publisher funding the game.
"Indie games aren’t cheaper because they are less quality games but because the development team is smaller (less overhead)."
Less labor overhead yea...
Might wanna get used to it. Sony aren't the only ones doing this.
You can be an independent developer and make AAA level games. This is a Sony published game and they are hoping for this to be another solid new IP. You don't value a game solely based on previous entries from the developer being indie titles. This game is clearly on a different level from their previous games. You are implying that indie dev's aren't allowed or capable of make a AAA priced game which is most likely why you got so many disagrees.
Idk if its just me, but every time I see this character in the picture all I can think of is a combination of Android 17 and 18. Am I alone here?
Alpha. It's first come first serve.
Sony bought Insomniac in fall 2019. Not sure where Babadook7 got his news from. Maybe because the aquisition was finalized fall 2020?
16gigs of Vram can be very beneficial in future games compared to 10gigs. Especially once games are developed with these GPUs in mind.
"How long you think it’s gonna take? Microsoft is already making decisions on day to day operations at zenamax."
Wrong. https://gamertweak.com/phil...
Here is a quote from spencer in the article from an interview in regards to zenimax not being acquired yet.
Spencer commented on the following: “I say that because I want people to know, I’m not sitting ...
"Man, imagine if Ubi or Bethesda made this game..."
You think it would be any better?
Why was anybody expecting a next-gen revolution with a game being developed for consoles from 2013?
The problem is that people are hyping their own expectations for this game. No doubt the game really needs some more polish but people were expecting a GTA style game and that's where most of the disappointment is coming from with my observation on N4G.
Game looks pretty great on my 5700XT. You only need a 3090 for decent RT performance at 4k. I'm running the game at mostly high settings with a few set to medium around 40-60fps at 1440p.
"How are people defending this? My mind is baffled..."
I'm baffled by the amount of people who were expecting a GTA style game and compare it as such....
No doubt this game needs to get patched big time but this game was never meant to be a GTA style game.
This is usually how RPGs work. Certain areas have high level enemies that are nearly impossible to beat unless you level your character up. So many people are treating this game like GTA. I partially blame CDPR with their marketing but that also clearly stated this is an RPG first.
Indeed, but those wont be exclusive. Remember, the Bethesda aquisition isn't going to be done until sometime next year. It humors be with the amount of people who think this and consider starfield exclusive already.
Well it seems you are the one who doesn't fully understand what a drought is. Drought doesn't mean no rain at all. It means a period of abnormally low rainfall.(I live in Florida and it still rains during droughts)
Wouldn't you agree that compared to the other 2 consoles that 3 exclusives VS 10+ on the competitions would be considered an abnormally low amount of exclusives in a year?
P.S. I didn't count FF7R and still exceeded 10 exclusive...
I wouldn't say it breaks the game. For me its made traversing the map on foot much more enjoyable and easier. The maps navigation is god awful and so is the mini map. Ive seen the navigation tell me to pass a turn I should have taken just to make an immediate u-turn to turn onto the street it was saying to pass. But seriously whats up with the piss poor mini map they use. Stairs look like fences, overpasses just look like roads overlapping other roads. Its just a complete mess. This is pr...
