MS does the same thing with their controllers lol... $5-$10 more than standard price in some cases. Sony is just following suit.
MS charges $5-$10 more for their special colored controllers too so I don't really see this as an issue if $5 is the highest they go with the price increase.
Different colors require more supplies to create them compare to black. You don't see cars having the same price across the board for every color. Some colors have an additional cost to them so I don't see why that cant apply here as well considering its only $5 more. If it was $10+ more then I would see a problem here.

It could also have something to do with he face buttons being to be created separately. Idk the process behind it but i don't think its as easy as just painting the ones they already have made so that could create additional cost like Sully stated.

@finding. I was just using the medium as an example because you can only play that game on PC or on a XSX/S. It has nothing to do with it being first party. It's just the only current game to compare at this time.

IDK guys, I recall playing The fallen order through EA play on PC on launch week. Thats even how I played Anthem Day 1 on PC and thankfully I never purchased it. I cant remember if I purchased BF5 or played through EA Play first. But thats what I remember being able to do. 🤷🏻♂️ Maybe its not exactly the same through GP?

If EA puts the game on EA Play Day 1 (which is highly likely) then it technically will be day 1 for Gamepass subscribers which makes it a Day 1 Gamepass release. People seem to forget that EA Play is included with Gamepass. I hope this is the case since I pay for Gamepass on PC.
Im sure he has but he didn't have to buy them. He just meant he didn't buy any games yet but is enjoying the enhanced games and probably the PS+ games.
This is how I am. It's not that I wouldn't buy an Xbox. I just have no reason to when I have a solid gaming rig to run the games @1440p. Game Pass has me covered for any of their exclusives.
