"You mean jumping from one planet to the next without a spaceship??"
While I do agree that they should have kept the space flying from planet to planet... The point I was getting across is that even though there are 5 total planets aka maps. Having alternate dimensions essentially allows them to have multiple maps per planet. Doing so then creates more of a storyline that extends the length of the game. So don't assume it's short just because it has less plane...
Man you really popped off... Edit: This was before your edit.
You clearly got upset from my initial question and didn't properly read the rest with a level head.
We all saw 5 planets. But again like I quoted from the video.... "the journey takes you to new planets, new versions of old planets, and alternate dimension versions of old and new planets."
While it had only shown 5 planets, that last part saying alternate dimensions of o...
It's not ND that got it to work. It's the Dualsense/firmware team that has it working for all BC games. He just gave feedback on improving the timing, intensity, and "texture" feedback allowing them to improve how it works on all BC games with the controller update back in April.
"Less cartoony than Ratchet & Clank."
And your point? Its also less graphically impressive than R&C
@Vizigoth
Steam has achievements too...
Welcome to the inevitable future...
Maybe not initially but I'm sure it can be done eventually. They need to make sure this solution is nearly as beneficial as DLSS if not better before they go any further.
Did you listen to the video? It says "the journey takes you to new planets, new versions of old planets, and alternate dimension versions of old and new planets." Doesn't sound like its gonna be short to me. And don't forget that the size of a planet level in the PS2 R&C isn't even remotely close to the size of the planets explorable areas in this game from what they have shown.
If theres at least 2 dimensions per planet then that means theres tec...

"I believe you had to pay for Spider-Man Upgrade. I think Nioh also had an upgrade paywall so Sony definitely makes you pay for upgrades..."
No, Sony makes you pay for REMASTERS.
Native PS5 remasters and performance patches for BC games are entirely different scenarios. Nioh remastered Collection (assuming this is the one you are talking about) is 2 games in 1 with more than just a fps/resolution boost. And sa...
"All I'm saying is with the frequency of updates it's obvious it was released too early."
Or it could mean they are efficient and fixing bugs? This game isn't even remotely broken to the point of that kind of assumption...
There's plenty of games that update almost weekly, they just don't get the spotlight like this game has for some reason.
CP2077 has had like 4 patches since launch and that game is still ...
Nothing would be exciting if you knew everything in the works.
" they're anything but consistent lately in terms of what-to-guess."
Isn't that the whole point of guessing? How can you guess when you know what to expect?

Its not a XSX exclusive. Its on POC and on the XB one... Its just an Xbox platform timed exclusive. Just wanted to clarify.
Waverider is meaning, have the XSX we can buy now and then have a digital only version just like how Sony did it with PS5...
"MS is anti consumer," gamepass is the only option to buy games" it's 2013 all over again basically."
That IS MS's end goal here with GamePass essentially. They wanna turn the game industry into Netflix.
You pulled 5 words from an interview you didn't provide a link to. Theres gotta be more context with the statement you quoted because "It is a no brainer" could mean many things and not necessarily what you are speculating.
This is from Forbes last year in February. https://www.forbes.com/site...

They really seem to not want people mistaking this game with the likes of Returnal. Fear of potentially losing sales perhaps?
@Stotty
I thought we were past this?
BC games even with upgrades are showing benefits towards XSX majority of the time. These comparison results are nothing new.
We just had a comparison of RE:Village showing that comparisons for games utilizing the new systems tech are very close to each other visually and performance wise. It's most likely going to stay that way for Multiplat games too.
That rumor was debunked at least for seeing VR support anytime soon.

"You are talking too soon."
Thats because he's trolling.
"We had to pay for TLOU Remastered."
PS4 isn't backwards compatible with PS3 games... that was the only option at the time to have it on the PS4.
Word is that there wont be a campaign based off of the financial calls where they normally talk about a campaign if there was one but that has yet to have been brought up.
