Wait. Didn't MS already do this after the XBL price increase backlash?
All good bud... No harm done. :)
@KnightedHollow
"Honestly at this point I wouldn't mind the price go up to 100$ per game. Maybe then those that didn't have a problem with the recent increase would change their tune."
This has to be one of the most spiteful comments I've ever seen on here. SMDH
They said that for bringing the first game onto PS4 and want to look forward for future titles. This could mean many things. They still could release a sequel and include the original game for free with purchase of the sequel if theres even a story behind the games that would require a direct sequel for continuity. Or instead... they could have a standalone sequel like what they do with some of their R&C games.
You know what happens when you assume? You look like a fool trying to downplay this. People are excited for potentially being able to get this franchise on their system of choice when they didn't have a Xbox console before to enjoy the game. A majority of Insomniac fans are PS players for obvious reasons. And being that SOD is one of the only game they missed out on from Insomniac over all these years, you better believe they would be hyped for this game wether its a remake of the first o...
I have friends on Warzone on PC, Xbox, and PS partied up all at once.
Don't forget Portal 2 with PS3 and PC.

@sayai
Then he could have said that. The only thing that makes it not seamless on the ps5 is that you have to restore your cloud saves manually if you didn't transfer from your ps4. Man... That's quite a task!
Apparently when with the game is in rest mode, it will close out the game to install the update causing you to lose whatever run you had on pause.
"Instead of shaming someone for not setting up their console "correctly" (whatever that means as the default setting is auto-update) you offer some meaningful input."
How did I shame you?? You must have me mistaken with arfab's comment bud.
I don't have my PS5 in front of me at work so I unfortunately cant give you specifics on how to do this if you want to.
I don't have mine set to auto update due to th...
" When I get PS5, I will have to manually transfer everything. Pain in the butt. Sony could fix this. If Microsoft can do it, Sony certainly can!"
Where did you get your PS5 setup info from??
So you can either start the system out fresh and download whatever game saves you want from cloud storage OR you can do a direct transfer from your PS4 to PS5 and choose what you want over the internet. It's pretty damn simple dude.... not a pain in the...
@Orchard
"What can you do in 3 seconds anyway? I can’t even bring up the menu and see how many friends are on in 3 seconds, never mind interact with one. We aren’t talking about the 1 minute+ load times of last gen where you could actually message someone or go get a drink."
Idk why you are so stuck on that. My comment with moving on with your life 3 seconds sooner was a joke response to Locutus. I honestly do not care what difference it makes i...
My PS5 doesn't install anything unless I tell it to. It will download it but not install it. Maybe adjust your settings and this wont happen to you.
@ Orchard
"It had some technical difficulties at launch which meant Microsoft forced some games not to quick resume, but that’s been resolved now."
According to John Linneman, Quick resume still doesn't work on all games
Heres his tweet responding to someone bringing up quick resume.
"Well you say that but my experience hasn’t been great. A lot of games I want to play don’t support it. I’ve been into Nier Replicant, fo...
"where as Xbox has quick resume... so 0 second loads after the first load."
If the game supports it... not every game supports that feature.
"Lol, 3 v 6 seconds isn’t even worth mentioning. You can’t do much in 3 seconds."
If the Xbox even loaded just 1 second faster, people on here would be putting the PS5 SSD speed on blast and you know it. lol
Bottom line, mathematically or on paper however you...
@Locutus
Indeed! You get to move on with your life 3 seconds sooner!
I remember those days well over a year ago. Since then there's been plenty of discussion about resolution not mattering if you implement proper upscaling and you know it. Even DF has been talking about us being in the post resolution era thanks to upscaling techniques.
Funny thing is the fact that people are downplaying a 3s difference as if having a 3 second faster load time isn't a big difference compared to 6 seconds being the longest load time. That's 50% faster no matter how people want to spin it.
I hope that doesn't happen since they make one of the best 3rd party game engines out there.
