The first one had very nice graphics, and wasn't a grapihcs hog at all. The only 2 things I didn't like about the graphics were the textures, which even on ultra high didn't look that great, although there were some textures such as rocks that were extremely detailed. But the non-story planets looks awful. And the second thing are the dynamic shadows on character faces. I turned off dynamic shawdows because it just made the character faces look ugly. Other than that, the graphics were very pr...
The demo at Target isn't the same one. That's been out for about a year.
I played it on PS3 yesterday then on PC today, and it looked even better on PC. But I was suprised how good the PS3 version looked, it still looks amazing. The character models look better than every other UE3 game I've played.
"Why do you think 60fps will make this game better? I really dont understand that. This is not a racer or even flashy shooter."
Well when you're playing on a PC and basically right in front of the screen, you have a much better feel for the framerate, and 30 fps doesn't always feel smooth enough. And I really like how smooth 60 fps feels.
For the same reason people buy Uncharted and left4dead when the second is coming out soon, because they're good games and they're cheap.
Well I still like the way the keyboard feels alot better than a controller, some people think the opposite. And PhysX is one of the few reasons I still haven't switched to ATI yet, I really like the effects.
Why do PC games ALWAYS come out way after the console version? I hate when we get shafted, although I guess this is a decent tradeoff for better graphics and controls.
Edit: Nevermind, I read it wrong.
Meh, I like Fallout Wikia better. I guess this is useful if you need to find a specific weapon or armor.
Just buy the game, you probably wouldn't have even noticed or cared if Pitchford hadn't mentioned this. If you look at any console game that has come out on the PC, then look at the PC version, 99% of the time, the PC version looks way better.
"The only reason they are charging money is so people don't change their gamertag everyday. It's actually an incentive NOT to change your gamertag."
Then they should just not allow you to change it after a period of 90 days or something, $10 is just BS. Or make it like steam where you can change the name that displays in the game but keep your account name the same. I'm not gonna pay money I could use for steam or psn games just to change my name.

Reminds me of when COD4 was released and I got that and Assassins Creed in a bundle for $60 at Best Buy.
490 degrees and only 17 comments? While another article that has 470 degrees has 154 comments?
Something is very wrong with Soda Popinsky... wasn't he a 360 fan?
I don't remember screen tearing and the load times were about 3 seconds...
Edit: Nevermind, you're probably talking about the console version.
1000 degrees and 23 comments? Whats up with that?
If you live in the US, it takes around 4-8 days. I got mine back in 4, most people get theirs in 5.
Almost, I would have the platinum if I didn't get YLOD. When I got the PS3 back I stopped playing WipEout for the trophies, and started playing on zone most of the time (my favorite game mode, it's perfect for custom soundtracks). I was litterally a day away from getting some of them when I got the YLOD.
Great pack for the people who don't have most of those. My personal favorite there is Audiosurf.
