They wouldn't abandon the PC which is where most of their install base lies. And it's just you, this game definitely looks better than Killzone 2.
"taking full advantage of CELL BROADBAND ENGINE and BLU RAY."
What difference would the Blu-Ray make on the graphics anyways, besides the fact it wouldn't be on multiple discs? And the Cell... well I don't think that thing is stronger than an I7 on PC.
Huh? It became a Steam game? I only remembered it being a nice UT2004 mod.
ASUS reliable? I received a dead motherboard from them, RMAd it, and got another dead one back, and their customer support sucks. After that I just went back to using EVGA.
Yeah, the tracking machine gun thingy pissed me off more than anything else. Most servers had that weapon locked off since it was so cheap. My favorite classes were the Corporate with the minigun, the Heavy Predator, and the Predalien. Predalien was my absolute favorite though, although I felt like I was being cheap sometimes. I pounce at an enemy which puts them in like a dizzy mode where they turn extremely slow, then circle behind them and keep clawing, and if they're not dead by then, one...
Now will Kotick and Activision shut up! Or does he want the prices to go even lower?
Well, source engine still looks quite nice. Half Life 2 Lost Coast and Episode 2 still look better than some of the games that get released today. But I really want them to make a new engine because I'm tired of every Half Life game looking almost the same as Half Life 2 in a way.
"You can see many times burning corpses mountains, cadavers, blood baths, fires, ruins, huge crawling shadows, very dark and foggy areas (yes, there are dark zones in Left 4 Dead, but as you almost always use a light, you don't feel the fear of darkness), exactly what Left 4 Dead needed to set a zombie atmosphere."
If you want something like that, play Doom 3 or Silent Hill. Valve wasn't really going for a scary realistic game, they went for more of a fun zombie shoot...
Heres another good GT5 video (finally something with sound!)

I think you can turn off damage, so that's why some videos don't have damage. Watch this video and note there isn't damage anywhere.

Well, AVP2 had 3 seperate 8-10 hour campaigns that felt like they could each be their own game. The aliens should be easy to control in the new AVP, in AVP2 on PC you held shift to climb on walls and ceilings, left click to attack with claws, right click to attack with the tail, and E to pounce. It felt perfect. If they stick to that general idea of controlling, it should be a breeze to control the aliens.
I played the hell out of it for 2 weeks when it came out, then I just forgot about it and went back to other games.
I'm using Kotaku, but still... a live stream would have been much better.
How come nobody has a live stream??? This is madness!!!!
That was actually pretty smart... I'm gonna put Crysis and low and say it's coming to the PSP. ;) Those screenshots actually looked believable.
Yes!!! Now I wanna see some gameplay! And hopefully it'll be realeased this year.
Crysis wouldn't lie to me... it's the first name that shows up in the Crysis credits. It says Crysis Executive Magangement than it says President/CEO Cevat Yurli.
Doesn't look like high... it looks mostly medium with shaders and something else I can't seem to remember on on high.
"And please AI takes a lot of processing power.... That is why games like KZ2, Resistance 2,MAG can support 32/60/256 players online.... Whereas games like Gears, COD can't even cross the 20 mark...."
Um, that's not what AI is... o_O AI is "artifial intelligence." Let me put it in a simple way: It controls how smart the enemies and allies are, how they take cover, and basically what actions they decide to take in single-player. Killzone 2 is an example of ex...
Because somebody did a stealthy change on the article after those comments were posted. It was a PS3 slim article before.
I could have sworn I saw it for $30 a few months ago...
