The technology isn't avaliable for that yet, but for maybe 3-4k you can probably run it at around 90-120 with Tri-SLI 285s.
Then unless you take that laptop to other places often, just get a desktop. You can build one better than this laptop for under $2500.
"Why release it on windows live when you can play it on Xbox live and its more fun."
I don't even know where to start. Maybe because most PC gamers don't have a 360, and they wouldn't just abandon PC? And care to explain what makes XBL more fun on 360? IT'S THE SAME SERVICE EXCEPT ON PC IT'S FREE.
"it could be other way round Rockstar paid Microsoft if they can make downloadable content for xbox live."
.....what.
.......
I love WipEout HD's songs. Every WipEout game has had good music, although I use custom soundtracks with HD since I kind of got tired of those songs since I played Pulse and Pure so much that those songs get stuck in my head any time I hear them. In fact, I think I could hum about every one of them right now.
He means you can build a desktop probably 4 times more powerful than this, get a nice big 1920x1200 monitor, a nice surround sound system, and still end up half the price or less. Laptops were never really meant for gaming, I'm gonna guess this thing heats up pretty good.
It doesn't have Special Forces, but that's understandable as that was a much larger expansion than these. Too bad I already paid for all the expansions. :( Armored Fury and Euro Forces wasn't really worth it as when I bought it, almost no one played them.
Holy fudge the low price!!! $300! I was thinking the first DX11 cards would be around $500-800. Watch my sweet Nvidia charge their first DX11 cards at $500-600 :(
Finally they release the final version of 1.50. It's been like 3 years since the last full non-beta patch. Yay for all the people who didn't have the expansions, since barely anyone plays Armored Fury or Euro Forces, now I can test them properly since everyone will have it. The only expansion alot of people play is Special Forces, which imo is the best one. Nothing like sniping someone from a big tower then gliding on a rope to another building!
I read a while back (I think it was at CVG) Battlefield 3 was going to have a dynamic movement system similar to Mirror's Edge according to DICE. I hope we get 64 players again!
This.
Is the DLC out on PC right now? And is it free like the last one?
Dual wielding realistic? Real soldiers don't dual wield, mainly because accuaracy counts more in real life than spamming someone with bullets. You ever seen dual weilding in sims like Arma 2 either?
The realism started ending in COD when COD3 came out, after that it got more unrealistic with each one.
If anyone's planning on building a new PC rig, do it now, if you buy any Nvidia graphics card, you get this game for free. I held off my best friend who wanted to get back into PC gaming by building a new rig, since the previous free game was Terminator Salvation, which we all know was terrible. Then a week later, we see the Batman game for the free game.
I hope it isn't a system hog like Arma 2, which was a good game but for the graphics, it doesn't look like it should be so demanding.
Sword of the Beserk? I hated that game, bad controls, and there was even some guy named Ballsac in it... I'm serious.
I like the way Resistance and Far Cry 2 did their health bars. The one in Far Cry 2 helped with the immersion, since when your health was really low, in order to bring it back up you had to pull out bullets from your body, reposition broken bones, stuff like that. Also, Crysis had a nice mixture of regenerating health and a health bar. I still prefer non-regenerative life bars more though, like in the Half Life games, although it led to me reloading a quick save several times trying to get pa...
Yay, I hate it when the PC versions come later, which happens almost all the time now.
I haven't played Team Fortress 2 for quite a while now, I need to start playing that again. Too much Counter-Strike and Unreal Tournament 2004 this week.
Cryostasis also had some nice water and physics effects.

But that's about the only good thing about the graphics in the game.
