Everyone who kept up on the production of Starcraft 2 knows this. And honestly, if it cut down the release date, and gave us a more full fledged campaign like the one in Wings of Liberty (15+ hours), then it was worth it. Plus it gives room for new units and tech and such for multiplayer, since I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing any new units or massive changes until Heart of the Swarm is released.

Uhh what? 2007... 360 was still VERY early, PS3 had just come out, so there wasn't much to compare, but Halo 3 literally looks like a high-res Halo 2 with bloom. And compared to PC games at that time, it looked awful. Even Half-life 2 Episode 1 and the Half Life 2 Lost Coast demo looked better, and that came out waaay before 2007.
How were they bullshots? They looked exactly like it does on PC. It's not like consoles are the focus of everything you know.
I actually do think the PC version will look better than GT5, not in actual car detail, but in environments, post processing, soft shadowing, shaders and such. I'm still getting both, I mean even if GT5 did suck (which it won't no matter what), I would still get it because I love GT.
And they're different types of racers, so stop whining about ZOMG ONLY 80 CARS. It's rally guys...

It's more about hardware. Most console games barely run at 30fps already, imagine updated shaders and higher-res textures? It would crash the system. And consoles aren't as open-sourced. Unreal Tournament 3 on PS3 can't support total conversion mods.
I think you have to register it with Steam anyways. Sadly, I don't see the price going down in Steam sales either because of Activision. Back when the first CODMW2 map pack came out, they had a "sale"... for $2 less. And the pack is $15. Really Activision?
I'm more of a Broodlord lover. I almost always get a Spire against Terran and Protoss for harassment anyways. I end up getting Corruptors against Protoss anyways for Colossi, and for Terran, their Corruption ability helps Mutalisks fight off anti air even if Corruptors are technically countered by Vikings. I end up with a ton of Mutalisks and Hydralisks to defend Broodlords against Vikings too. And Broodlords pretty much = GG once you have at least 4 backed up with defense.
Rank one IN YOUR DIVISION. Not the whole league. It's not that hard to get rank one in you're division, just play alot since division ranks are based on points and not win/loss.
And 3v3 Gold doesn't really mean anything. 1v1 is where skill is proved.
I was in a match which was literally all cheeses possible.
I played a 2v2 match yesterday where I was probe rushed by both teams. I easily fended it off with micro (ran in circles, mined some minerals, ran in some more circles, returned minerals, repeat) and help from my teammate with all my drones still alive.
So I decided to 6 pool (Zerg) to end the match, then bam... I see a forge and a shitload of cannons right inside my base, out of range (thankfully). ...

It's sounding better and better. I still don't get how they seriously can't improve the graphics much though... mainly the textures. I mean, seriously, if a few guys in the community (actually more like one guy actually applying them with people sending him pictures to use) can do textures like this, why can't a whole company?

Well, if he means maxed out as in DX11, no, the DX11 options really kill the framerate. Otherwise, a 460 should run it with good framerates with everything else maxed out, and it still looks insanely good.
