It's an ok list, but mine would be way different.
SPOILERS if you haven't played the games!!!!
01. Mass Effect - Ending sequence. Just freaking epic and amazing.
02. Halo 3 - Dual Scarab battle in Hornets. Soooo much fun.
03. CoD:MW - All Ghillied Up. What an intense sequence and carrying out a sniper assassination mission. Unreal.
04. CoD:MW - Nuke detonated. It left me in awe...couldn't believe what had just happened.
05. Bioshock - Would you kind...
I hope Edge gives Uncharted 2 a bad score just to see the fanboys here explode. It'll be lulz time for sure.
:-)
Completely agree with you N2.
It's sad to see the entitlement PS3 fan(boy)s seem to think they deserve with regards to Uncharted 2 and its scores.
They see the reviewers complaint about the snow and tear it apart, but completely ignore the fact that he has a gripe with the camera. maybe the camera complaint is what took most of that point off. Who knows. it doesn't matter because the score is still a great score.
ZomG teh 9~!1!! oH NOeS~1!!
I'm canceling my pre-order nao!!~1!
Can you tell say you have played both Uncharted 2 and Modern warfare 2 to KNOW for a FACT that MW2 doesn't have more epic moments than Uncharted 2?
I'm playing through Uncharted right now for the first time, and it's a pretty awesome game. CoD:MW is an awesome game as well, and both sequels are looking to be better than the previous iterations, and I will own both of them and I can't wait to play both titles.
Yeah, I'm on a 1080p 61" Samsung, and most games looks awesome on it.
I notice jaggies occasionally during games, but most of the time it's during cutscenes where my attention isn't focused on staying alive.
Who cares about the resolution? If no one pointed out that it was sub-HD, no one would notice.
It takes people to count f*cking pixels to know that it's sub-HD.
I just want to say that you're pathetic KOmega?
You can't handle criticism at all LMFAO?
O and BTW, now I'm just a screen name? I'm still anonymous, moron?
LOL?
I played it and think it's awesome. I've seen numerous people say they think it's awesome too.
Now I've heard it all LMAO.
That's just sad. Consoles aren't meant to be "rooted for." You play games on them. Instead of having one winner, why not hope that all succeed? With success comes better games. With better games comes better consoles. With better consoles comes better games. imagine if SONY ran MS and Nintendo out of business? Imagine the lack of innovation with a gaming monopoly. I'm sure you would have fun cheering for your winning console, with a horrible ...
Don't bother, because you won't get a straight answer.
If someone didn't tell him Halo 3 ran at 640 or whatever, he wouldn't even notice, just like most people. It takes people at PixelCounters or whatever lame site it is to actually count lines to find out. It's pathetic really.
Why do you feel the need to try to downplay games on the opposite console? Is it really necessary?
How about if you play your awesome games, and let others play what they want?
OR, here's a novel idea, you could own BOTH consoles, and then you won't feel the need to be so protective over one and you can enjoy games on both of them! I know it's a scary idea at first, but you might actually enjoy it!! :-o
...and then Halo: Reach will release...and people will say it's the same game and that the engine is dated and that Halo fans are morons who will buy anything when it sells 4 million in the first 24, and then it'll be because of the marketing, and then the game will be awesome and will have 150,000 - 200,000 unique players everyday and it'll continue to sell extremely well and surpass Halo 3's numbers and then it'll be because 360 owners have nothing else to play and so on and so forth.
...
I just got Uncharted, will play through and then decide if I want Uncharted 2.
ODST was awesome and will continue to get played...probably until Reach comes out.
It's been an awesome several years as a gamer. Every year there have been so many amazing titles on all platforms.
I've been gaming long enough to know quality, and Halo is quality.
I'm not some huge Halo fanboy...in fact I'm quite the opposite. Halo 3 was my first Halo title, and I thought it to be overrated when I first played it. Then playing it more and more with my friends, it grew on me and I wanted to delve into the Halo storyline, so I got Halo: CE and Halo 2.
Is Halo my favorite game? Nope.
Is it overrated? Probably...especially by the people who think its t...
If the car was only $60 I would.
I own Halo 3 and bought all the map packs, and you're trying to tell me if it's a good value or not to me. For me, it's worth $60. I've already put at least 20 hours into the game, maybe even more, and until Reach comes out, I'll probably put in hundreds more hours with Firefight and co-op campaign.
You can't tell me, that playing a video game costing $60 and playing hundreds of hours on it, isn't worth that pricetag. It's called replayability. Some might not want to play the gam...
For me, ODST is worth $60. I played the campaign, and it took me longer than the five hours some people state it takes. I've logged a bunch of time on FireFight already, and plan to log many many more. I'll also put in some more time playing the campaign co-op with my friends. Add in the Halo 3 MP maps that will get some playtime, and we can't forget the Halo: Reach beta that will definitely get a lot of playing, and I have myself a nice package that I personally think is worth the pricetag. ...
Looks alright...rental at best for me though...down the road...in a big release drought...after I've played through other games I skipped because so many awesome games came out at the same time.
Amazing graphics? Nope. Passable? Yes.
