Play games, not consoles!

I actually thought the story for Prototype was solid.

I think it fell flat in the gameplay department. Don't get me wrong, it was pretty fun at times, but then other times the difficulty was ridiculously over the top with what seemed like hundreds of enemies all attacking at once.

I also didn't like the amount of moves and attacks they tried to cram into the game. No one stopped and said, "you know, we're running out of button combinations wi...

If everyone who plays Halo is a little kid, then anyone trolling Halo articles is a crybaby.

Halo 3 isn't the most played game on Xbox Live for 2007/2008/2009 because it lacks quality.

Every aspect of Halo 3 is quality and is being brought to Halo: Reach and will be improved upon.

Not knowing how to use "your" and "you're" shows that you're DEFINITELY retarded.

O really? Guess what, I'm almost 28 (not a kid) and I love Halo. Guess what else, I also love Killzone 2. Not everyone is a retarded, single minded fanboy like yourself. Go play in traffic.

The Halo Community will make so many amazing maps and creations with these tools. I felt that Halo 3 had near limitless replay value, but Reach is going to surpass that.

Kudos to Bungie for innovating.

Can you please elaborate on how Halo is generic? Halo probably has more unique weapons than most other FPS games. It features awesome vehicular game play, both on the ground and in the air. Please name me some games that have ONE of those, let alone both. I would REALLY like to see this list of games that has an abundance of unique weapons and vehicles.

Well said dude.

The fact that no game has yet to match Halo 3 feature for feature shows how far ahead of the curve Bungie is. The only game that will surpass Halo 3, is Halo: Reach.

Bungie really brought innovation (to consoles at least) with Forge, Theater and File Share. Those three features are huge reasons why millions of people are still playing Halo 3 three years after release.

If you want to see the Bungie Effect, look at Uncharted 2. ...

I'm not looking forward to digital downloads at all.

I like having the case and game manual and other things that come with it. There were many times when I pulled out the map of Liberty City while playing GTAIV and used it to get around. Some devs go all out with the manuals and put lots of great stuff in it.

"Also on the dangerous tip this week: rumors of the demise of our Reach post ship support. Some people saw an interview with Sketch where he pinned our entire hopes and dreams on a mere two percent of the studio at large. Working with some fuzzy studio headcount numbers already supplied by yours truly in an earlier missive, more than a few fans crunched the numbers and landed on a meager number of Bungie personnel armed and ready to ensure that Reach remains awesome well after September ...

A little more than two weeks away for this.

I am super pumped for the campaign. It just feels like it's going to be completely epic.

Once I'm finished with the campaign, it'll be time for some MP and improved Firefight 2.0 (which is so much fun and made ODST worth the price tag IMO).

I disagree. I love the campaign of Halo 3 as well as ODST. While short, ODST's campaign is packed with action. NMPD HQ mission is fucking EPIC. Getting on the platform for extraction and having missile pods all around for taking down the Banshees and Covie Cruisers is so much fun.

I'm inclined to buy almost any game Bungie makes. The Halo franchise is high quality, and I trust that whatever game they make will also be of high quality.

"Maybe because it's true... For a 360 game it looks great, but I dare you to try and compare it VISUALLY to Killzone 2, a two year old game let alone Killzone 3 when it's released."

How about if you compare all of the features that Halo 3 has with all of the features that Killzone 2 has?

Killzone 2's list will be pretty bare-bones in comparison. If you want the list to be even more lopsided, then compare all of Halo: Reach's features...

"Frankly I'm tired of seeing halo this halo that whenever the overall experience is mediocre."

That's your opinion. Millions of people have Halo as their favorite game, which is also THEIR opinion.

The more people like something, the more hype it will have. A lot of people like Halo, so it gets a lot of hype. You may think the hype isn't justified because of your opinion on the game, but for the millions of people that love Halo, the hyp...

Bungie is yet again innovating console multiplayer.

I'm eager to see how I fare in Arena. I'm probably an average to above average Halo player, so I'm interested to see if Arena reflects that.

So please stop clicking on the articles and commenting. Have some self control.

By the way, I'm almost 28 and I'm a huge Halo fan.

It doesn't appeal to a large portion of gamers? Well DUH. That can be said about EVERY SINGLE VIDEO GAME IN HISTORY. The amount of people playing a certain game will always be less than the amount of people not playing that game. Out of roughly 42 million Xbox 360 owners, a few million will buy it at release. But more ...

Please provide a link. I've read every Bungie Weekly Update and I haven't seen them make any such statements.

I guarantee they will have a team dedicated to Halo: Reach. How much of the studio that is is really irrelevant. I'm sure whatever needs to be done with Reach post-release, will get done. If the Reach-dedicated team needs help, then they will have it from the studio.

Once Bungie is officially done with supporting Reach (not for another yea...

"Outside of the numbers, there is the simple fact that the Halo series is a ton of fun to play. I know, it's strange to read an article by a member of the video game industry media talk about something as simple as 'fun', but there it is. Bungie is what all developers should strive to be. They listen to their community, ban cheaters/hackers, update their games to increase replayability, keep their servers running smoothly, and give gamers the option to create their own game w...
