It is an amazing game, and it really is properly scary. I played it the way it is meant to be played, in the dark with headphones on, and it is genuinely unsettling.
Some games like to think they are scary but turn out just to be full of silly monsters and scary music but this game really is properly nerve shreddingly mind fu**ingly scary.
Patch 2.0 seems to have caused more problems than it fixed! Added some cool features, but sadly some glitches too. Can't wait for 2.1 so I can play it again.
Heavenly Sword was and is a much better game than Enslaved.
It came out at a time when the PS3 could do no right and whether people want to admit it or not everything and every game related to the PS3 at that time was bashed just for the sake of it.
Heavenly Sword is one of my favourite games of this gen and is very under-rated.
Trophies I'll let you have but you can use a pad with your PC.
My 60gb died on Friday :-(
Luckily I had Continuous Play and thus I have a 60gb for life and am getting my replacement tomorrow.
Only thing that bothers me is that for some goddamn stupid reason I hadn't bothered using the cloud saving (I have PS+) and now I have lost all my saves!
Most games I'm not bothered about it, I'd love an excuse to go back and play some of my older games. It's just inFamous 2 which I hadn't finished but was well on my way t...
Personally I agree with 402, I have and love all the Killzone games not just 2 and 3 and imho KZ2 does look better than 3.
I think 3 took a hit for 3D.
Personally I think Activision should be congratulated. Who'd have thought they could get that sort of advertising to work!
I mean seriously the BF3 beta is the best advert for MW3 ever! I know I changed my pre order to MW3 after playing it.
And before anyone says "But it is a BETA", bollocks, I played in the alpha too and the beta is far worse than the alpha was! If all they've done since July is make it worse, I doubt they'll be able to fix it in 3 week...
I was in the Alpha and if anything the beta is far worse than the alpha was.
So unless the alpha was a more recent build than this, all they've managed to do since July is make the game worse.
My pre order was cancelled. I will most definitely still buy the game, but I'll wait and get it cheap in a few months once all the bugs and balancing issues are sorted out.
TBH I had a fit of nerd rage when this was first announced. While I still don't like the idea of Syndicate being an fps, I have to admit, it does look pretty good. Just wish they'd given it an original name instead of piggy backing an established and loved franchise. Business is business.
It's not so much the glitches that put me off, it was just incredibly underwhelming.
They've been banging their own drum so hard you'd think the game was the second coming of FPS Christ, and really it's just another generic army dude shooter.
My pre order was cancelled and the money spent on RAGE instead.
Jenson needs to win every race thats left, and Vettel would need to not score any points.
So yes, he's already won, unless he doesn't turn up it's in the bag.

Seriously, that is one of the passwords. Have fun finding space though!

lol, good thinking, but I doubt it sadly.
They were in there because Square Enix are Japanese and pretty much all Japanese games have boss battles, so they did it to appeal to the Japanese fanbase.
@bum
I think he only has 2, I think the second pic is just a close up.
Either way, 2 590's is still overkill lol, do want.
Lets put it this way, no one who was ever actually considering getting BF3 for PC is still running Win XP or has a DX9 only graphics card.
Honestly if anyone is running XP or only a DX9 gpu (bear in mind DX10 graphics cards have been around since 2006 and an 8800gt will cost you about £10 these days), then they are not serious about gaming on PC.
Sadly Maria is right though. I don't imagine there has ever been a war without some civilian casualties.
Just another sad fact of war.
Good article with some very good points.
There is so much hate goes both ways, console gamers think PC gamers are elitist snobs and PC gamers think console gamers are noobs.
I've been gaming on both consoles and PC's since, well a very long time ago. I still have my Atari 2600, which was bought brand new and my first PC was a 286, with a 15mb hdd, which I played Commander Keen and the original Duke Nukem games on!
It just annoys me to see such narrow ...
And respawning must really freak him out.
