I played in the Alpha with a system that just exceeds the recommended specs and I left the graphics option to 'Auto' and it set me to high.
And I fiddled about with the settings a bit too and there really wasn't much difference other than particles and volumetric effects that changed between High and Low (there was no ultra in the Alpha).
So worry not, it'll still look awesome on a 'medium' system. And if anything you'll pwn more online with the se...
Alien Trilogy on the PS1 is one of my all time favourite games.

Same here, sometimes I could go a good couple of hours without any problems.
Other times it would crash every ten minutes. It was always when I was kickin ass too, never crashed when I was sucking :-(

I could get back into it, it's just nuts if you haven't played it in a long time I used to be great at it! I played it the other night and got 4 kills in a whole match, (fair enough I didn't have many deaths either though which in the real world is more important lol). I honestly do think some of the hardcore players are Jedi lol.

GO looks ok but it is clearly geared more for the consoles than PC, have you seen the gameplay vids? That equipment buying wheel is hideous.
I can't play CS anymore anyway, if you stop playing it you can't go back. People who play it are like jedi's, console players are in for a rude awakening if there really is cross platform play.
Yep, I liked it a lot. It was pretty hard though so that would have put off a lot of the nooblets.
