I landed a Gtx 670 mini for under $300 and it is stellar. It's not as expensive to pc game as you might think. And on that note I think that it is quite insane to say consoles are better for gaming performance than pc.
As a pc gamer, you should know to hold yourself to a higher standard than the console wars.
I'm a neutral party. Just a witness.
She knows what chloroform smells like.
Sweet. The 880ti and Titan gpu's will be nice and cheap in those 3-4 years. Should help render even faster.
Where did you hear 2015? Can you share a link?
Internet has ruined social interaction as well as realistic expectations. Gaming is on the low end of Internet casualties.
@gaming
That's my point. Dx12 is n API and epic isn't owned by microsoft to my knowledge so I'm not sure what the Microsoft announcement that Stuna is referring to.
Are you referring to direct X 12 or the unreal engine 4 as microsofts reveal?
Sony gets the Gold Star. Glad to hear its comfortable.
Very well put Robochobo.
We will be gaming on the Starship Enterprise in 2020 bud.
I doubt PC gamers feel threatened by the Morpheus any more than the graphics on the PS4. Flame baiters are terrible for any gaming medium.
Lol, you sound like the threatened one. I thought it was a good article. CPUs have plateaued and VR could make them aggressive again.
I think the Rift will fall right in line with the $300 price point.
Steam already has quite a few Rift-supported games in their library. From Thief to Left 4 dead. Valve is Oculus' best friend.
Big Picture Mode for the win! I havent used a Kb/M in quite a while.
Everyone has different priorities. All my friends drive Lamborgini's (PC) and a wicked track to play on (Steam). As long as you support the games you play, thats all that matters.
Just because everyone on the Internet is talking about the Morpheus this morning. I was hoping the Rift will step out of the shadows and start beating the hype drum. I just dont want my beloved Rift to be left behind. I want them to hit the mainstream, hard!
Are they behind though? The Morpheus looks pretty polished from the outside. Hopefully they show some gameplay soon.
Consoles cant compete with mid-range gpu's. if you spent more than $175 on a dedicated gpu, you have just outdone the ps4/x1
