Stop, and think about it.

The Steam library already has many games that are supported by the Rift. I'm not sure how long it takes to convert a game to VR, but steam seems to be ahead of the game with some massive support.

3d certainly looks better on a big screen. I have a 60" Sony 3dtv and a 106" 3d projector and the projector wins 3d viewing everytime. No cross-stalk whatsoever.

Yeah, you cant have one without the other. Games are developed on PC, and consoles are the only games developers sink money into. They are forever intertwined.

3DS is a wonderful piece of kit. I play that beauty more than all my consoles combined. A wonderful library and innovative technology really makes this unit shine. Best handheld on the market.

Thank God PC survives.

@Lets Go
Its the redirect through Steam that drives me nuts. I open the game in steam, then wait for Uplay to load (2-3mins) and then load the game (10 seconds). Just let Steam take care of the DRM.

I sure hope to god that never happens. Cell games just wont be the same without controllers. I hate the touchpad for replacing buttons. And your thumb covers most the screen. People are ready to shed blood if a console game is under 1080p/60fps, so for them to jump on board to a cell phone game would be quite daunting.

Well for a while everyone was pushing Nintendo to go mobile or go home. And more and more developer are going to notice that cell games cost very little to develop, in hopes of becoming the next "flappy bird". Why would a company invest millions on what may be a flop, if you can throw $100 at a college student and he can churn out the next Candy Crush?

Looks great, but I dont want to see any more developers leaving console development for Cell phone games. In my heart of hearts I want mobile gaming to drop in popularity so console gaming stays strong.

I sincerely hope U Play is dead by then.

If you have a low-end Gpu this will help PC. X1 will need this more as the gpu isnt that great and it will help with the cpu bottlenecking.

I am more excited about this game than any console exclusive game. I think they have a winner on their hands. I will lament its not on PC, but I can play it in my X1 all the same.

Microsoft sure doesnt think VR is going anywhere. Their 'wait and see' approach will either backfire if VR takes off, or vindicate them for not dumping truckloads of money on the tech.
Personally, I think that Valve and Oculus need a friggen PR dept. It seems like they are content to run with word of mouth right now. Not a viable plan when rolling out such radical tech.

1 or 2 years down the line, people will be willing to tack on an extra $250-$300 for the Morpheus. Their PS4 will have been long paid for and enjoyed and I think the consumers will want to freshen the console experience. I think $150 is a little unrealistic. At least initially. As VR goes through generations and more hardware is shared tween the Rift and PS4 the parts will get cheaper.

All technology starts somewhere. The first cell phone you had to strap to your back.

This game looks incredible. Like Sin City had sex with Bioshock while inglorious basterds watched from the bushes.

Great, so release Forza for PC ya jerks.

Looks really polished for a demo unit. Sony sure knows how to market their machines.

I'd benchmark that all day.

Check out Steam guy. You will see ease of use. Big Picture Mode makes your pc into a console.
