Both this and the previous 8 Days "Leaked screenshots" (all posted by the same website) were probably fake. Especially looking at this crap.
But will this be the boxart for the US or EU as well, or is it just Japan? The artwork looks it's designed for the Japanese audience to me (but I like it).
I can't believe people are stupid enough to actually think this game looks bad judging by 10x zoomed in screenshots.
This article, report, and website as a whole smacks of fakeness to me. Like another site trying to garner attention by reporting disinformation about the hot new PS3 exclusive. It doesn't even explain how they obtained those leaked shots.
But the game looks largely the same as it did. And by that, I mean it still looks average.
That looks mediocre. Basically it looks like Doom 3 with a space marine equipped with a flashlight, and some alien creatures jumping out at you from time to time... what am I saying, this IS Doom 3. And it doesn't look scary at all.
Probably should pass on this one. Many, many other survival horror games in the offing that are more deserving of your 60 bucks.
I'm sorry, but as an American, there are many reasons I utterly despise the American capitalistic system as it currently stands, and they're finally manifesting themselves in ways that affect me with predatorial activities by giant software corporations such as this.
The downward spiral of games quality is imminent, and there's nothing gamers can do about it.
No matter what you want to believe, lack of competition has always meant less quality for the consumer. That's an economic constant. There's never been a situation where a monopoly meant a better product for the consumer; it's only ever meant less innovation, risk-taking, and far less incentive to improve on the end product.
Things might not change that much in the short run, but the reality is that regardless of what that smug-faced asshole John Riccitiello wants to fool us into...
Trust me, GTA will NOT improve one bit with EA taking control of it.
Good thing I don't really care for Spore, or any of the Sims games. And I'm not a football fan, so Mediocre-Madden can go fu** itself.
What took them so fukcing long?
Looks like a pretty cool game, I'll check it out if it ever comes to consoles.
Most remote controls are more complex and have more buttons than a console gamepad. Are those too "complicated" for the average consumer?
I don't think the issue is the complexity of the gamepad or the number of buttons; I think the biggest issue is on the software side, by making games that are more accessible/easier to learn. The games need to be educating and instructing newcomers and casual gamers with good, simple, comprehensible introductory tutorials.
Wow, you're an idiot.
Well, they DID say it's currently BEYOND medium, and it's still a work in progress.
Wait, these morons say that Left 4 Dead wouldn't appeal to PS3 owners. But it could appeal to Wii owners? What kind of dishonest, out-of-touch douchebags are they?
Agreed, but the actual game has a hell of a lot more substance to it than you think. Hell, more substance and depth than the vast majority of shooters out there. It's just that Ubisoft has neglected for whatever reason to show off any true gameplay videos or trailers, and has up to this point opted for tech demos of its engine instead.
Anyone else notice how the framerate just dies at certain points in the vid, especially when he starts shooting at some branches? Doesn't bode well for the sys requirements of this game.
So I guess Paramount wasn't FOR making the best move for the consumer just couple months ago when they took a $100 mil check to go HD-DVD?
Dude, you do know that rubbing alcohol would erode the finish of the 360 paint job too, right?
