Sounds like they have some sort of exclusivity deal with Microsoft but act like they want to make a point and shame Sony.
To be fair, their other game, Contrast, was meh
«It's not a competition, Pam!»
For me, it got old really fast (was playing before the "Season 2"). Missions are repetative, AI is not customizable and pretty dumb on both sides (but at least your partners shoot well and act like great bullet sponges), progression is not enjoyable, you're, basically, forced to take out convoys to get enough resources to upgrade your skills. A lot of the times you'll be driving in silence, only occasionally AI will say some fun story and then it's silence again.
Well, he did say he played poorly. Maybe he got himself into a situation when his favorite character is dead, so no reason for him to continue. He did enjoy graphics, characters and theme of the story. So i think, it was positive.
Also, it's fine to not like some things (even a popular ones). For instance, i love gameplay in MGS V, while a buddy of mine hate it, because his stealth is always turning into blood bath rocket launcher fight.
Regarding the ArenaNet situation - if you don't want people to express their opinion about what you've said/shared (even if it was/wasn't polite), don't use public forums.
Don't want people to argue/disagree with you?
- Prefix your opinion with «Hey, don't disagree with me» or «i don't care about your opinion» or «i'm venting»;
- Don't attack people who're disagreeing with you, especiall...
Sounds like a new M. Night Shyamalan movie
Well, they said "properly" and it's only proper way i know how to rewrite legacy code. And this attitude of "we'll fix, but expect bugs" is not a good move, in my opinion. If i would say that to clients, they'll just fire me. Especially if i would've earned that much money as PUBG did.
Wait, but if you're removing them "properly", how "issues are expected"?
Shouldn't "properly" be:
- Write tests for legacy code (if they're not written beforehand);
- Rewrite the legacy code while running the tests;
- Fix found bugs;
- ...
- Profit!
Again this E3 presentation and crossplay? This is getting ridiculous, every day same topic.

What if your account with all your digital games gets deleted, banned (for any weird reason) or you flat out forget your password and can't reset it? Or what if happens the P. T. situation, where game was just removed from the store completely and you can't redownload it anymore. Your digital collection turns into 1 and 0 on some server.
At least physical copy (which i do agree, it can get damaged and/or lost) you can find, try run...
Haven't played in Origins or Far Cry 5, but Wildlands was awful at launch - terrible helicopter controls, empty world without any incentive to expore it, repetitive missions, awful AI for everyone, a ton of missing features (no way to create distractions aside from special grenades, bodies disappear almost right after they touch the ground, capturing enemies is pointless, no way to customize AI partners, no garage/vehicle customization), bad progression system.
«I'll pass GaaS!»
Never noticed how ambiguous this sounds
They're all just terrible recently - Take-Two, EA, Ubisoft, Activision.
Let's not forget about the NBA series microtransactions and how forced they were in the latest version; GTA V online issues (broken economy, P2W elements (Orbital Cannon)); what they did with Evolve monetization, then moved it to F2P without giving any significant rewards for paid owners of a game and the inclusion of loot boxes.
And their new «Recurrent consumer spending...
Still remember the Angry Joe quote, «You're giving me a gun that's painted blue and you wanna charge me $2»
Throw away your PS4? Are you crazy?! Send it my way, i'll even pay for shipping
I've seen some people asking for heavy moderation or to disable the comments section and i completely disagree with both of this statements.
You have to understand, heavy moderation works both ways. Some might have different opinion (different != wrong), but heavy moderation might remove the comment all together and some people will not see the «other side» of the argument. Or YOU might have a «wrong» opinion (according to someone) and it will be del...
There's no need to «fix» anything. There are many different games that cater to different tastes.
You want to play as surgeon - there are games where you play as surgeon/doctor/whatever.
You want to cook? There are games for you.
Want to sing? There are games for you.
Want to drive? There are games for you.
Want to shoot someone/something? Visit a psychologist and there are games that will satisfy your thirst for blood.
It's not free-to-play game, right? Then it's already monetized.
Just a fun statistic (how many crossplay titles available on the consoles):
PS4: 78 titles
PS3: 43 titles
Xbox One: 39 titles
Xbox 360: 2 titles
Switch: 19 titles
Wii U: 6 titles
