Sad, no more Acid Cloud and Scraping Spear trolling...
P. S.: Funny thing is, servers will be online for 9 years, all without microtransactions and any server upkeep fees. Yet much bigger companies like 2k, Activision, EA, Ubisoft can't do that.
Then how about putting Deus Ex, Diablo 2, Mass Effect, Half-Life 2, WarCraft 3, Dragon Age Origins, Metal Gear Solid 3, Dead Rising, Gears of War 3, God of War 3 and so much more great games for Game of the Year award? We shouldn't do that, because it's dumb.
P. S.: WarCraft 3 last patch was released in april of 2017, so technically speaking, game is still being "supported". Similar goes for Diablo 2.
DICE "Would Have Loved" If You Just Send Them Your Money
P. S.: Progression system is a huge part of gameplay, if you're going to ignore it, you're doing an awful job at reviewing the game.
No, no they don't need microtransactions. This is all a lie.
To everyone who thinks gamedev costs are increasing, consider this:
- Right now, you have tons of tools to make the game, even complete, free and fully tested ideas, assets, textures, shaders, huge systems (SpeedTree, etc), even engines, they speed things up a lot. Before that, most of this stuff you had to make yourself, which costs money, required huge QA sessions and so on.
- You have HUGE...
Are they really using the «We did this for you» excuse? That's just insulting at this point.
Somewhere in EA headquarters:
- Let's make game really grindy, like Dungeon Keeper mobile game. And then add steps to prevent players from being able to grind "for free", so they will buy premium currency and loot boxes instead.
- But it's not a free-to-play game, right?
- Nope, it's AAA game, it costs $60.
- GENIUS!
After the mess with new Battlefront, i'm not touching this with a 40 ft pole, because it will be, for sure, riddled with microtransactions, loot boxes, "energy" timers and other staples of F2P mobile games.
P. S.: Don't forget, Bioware said similar things about Mass Effect Andromeda, how it "looks fantastic", how they're "very excited" and so on.
Calling people who complained (and rightfully so, they're paying money) "idiots", "blight" and demand them to "stop gaming" is sure a very mature and intelligent way to show how "wrong" they were.
And why this "journalist" didn't think for a second that he might be a "blight" and should "stop gaming", i have no idea.
No Nier: Automata on Game of the Year and instead we got that "PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds", that's STILL IN EARLY ACCESS.
I'm really happy to see Halfcoordinated on the Trending Gamer list, really cool dude. He beat Nier: Automata and Vanquish with one hand.
No Death Stranding on Best Anticipated Game, Nioh in best ACTION game, instead of Action/Adventure list
And why there are no Korean StarCraft players in Best eSports Player? FlaSh,...

I have played Breath of the Wild for around 3 hours (i do not own a Switch, so i borrowed it from a friend for a short time). I was enjoying the game, found a glowing sword (Flameblade, i believe, near some tall structure in a small round lake), was really happy with it, but then after killing like 4 or 5 enemies, it shattered. I was really disappointed by this, because i instantly lost all interest in exploration. My thought process was: if next time i'll fin...
IMO, breakable weapons are done right in Diablo and Dark Souls (there are more examples, those are just most popular, IMO). Your weapon never "shatters" into million pieces, instead it's stats just decreases and you have to visit town to repair it.
Breath of the Wild is the worse example, IMO. You can spend a lot of time and find great weapon (great damage, looks, etc) but after you kill few enemies with it, it just "disappears" and all the time you ...
So that's why EA, Ubisoft, 2k, WB Games and many more big publishers are going out of business. Wait, what, they aren't? So game sales are still enough to keep whole publisher's and developer(s) teams afloat and microtransactions just another scummy way to take money from customers, gotcha!
No, because it would be pointless for the game and that it would be considered hateful and homophobic by most caring and progressive people of this world
I'm sorry, but what to counter here? Do you read in kid's books/see in kid's TV shows about torture, people breaking others hands with a hammer, people being hanged and/or shot to death? No? Then it makes such topics mature. You can't associate such topics with kids, it's just stupid.
And aside from that, trailer is designed to show what you will see/feel in the game, which clearly is some sorts of fanatics trying to bend people to their will/believes. I...
Yep! And technology department as well, and QA, and story department, and multiplayer... Question is, where they succeeded?
And they still didn't learn a thing from Andromeda.
For me, main problem was lack of fresh ideas and gigantic lack of polish (countless bugs, animations, FPS issues, you name it). I mean, even in original Mass Effect they had a lot more interesting antagonist(s), dialogs, plot twists, "diverse" aliens and even animations!
This was a new universe, jeez, they could've done so much more! Imagine, aliens that can float and teleport around (you can use it to acc...
I kind of enjoy how ACG rates the games, explaining all the bad and good sides and says, does game worth buying, renting or just ignore it.
Or Famitsū, with 4 different people rating the game and those individual score combined is the result score. There's a higher chance this score will be more accurate, because different people might like or hate different things. And their perfect 40/40 scored games never disappoint.
I completely don't trust IGN and alike, because...
No proud independant green Orks? That's not inclusive and pretty racist. #orklivesmatter #greenandproud /s
When those excuses are going to stop? Microtransactions are like scammy DLC, you're, basically, buying shit that is ALREADY in the game, you don't have to download ANYTHING new. You're paying for a single function call, "addPremiumCurrency(1000) ;", nothing has to be integrated into the game. Why people defend this, why they try to find all sorts of stupid reasoning, i just can't understand it.
Good.. Good.. Let the hate flow towards you, EA
Though, i have a feeling, that imperator Palpatine is the CEO of EA
