It's a person who helps you get better at sport
@TekoIie
Yep, completely agree. It looks like they're trying to fix one problem, but didn't think that there can be other reasons why players kill each other. And that they can punish normal players (who are trying to complete the quests/built stuff) but getting trolled and giving more «food» to trolls/griefers.
Solution, IMO, would be to either make a separate PVP zones or add a GTA-like passive mode, where you can't harm others and can't...
You're trying to do quests or farm for resources and someone keep taking the resources before you do/killing the enemies you need/blocking your path/breaking your stuff. You kill him few times and get a «massive debuff».
Sounds like a great idea! /s
Sorry to say, but Big Bad Wolf, Quantic Dream, even Hazelight and Dontnod do more for the genre than Telltale ever did.
And «churned out amazing games», come on!
a. You can't be churning out (which means «to produce something automatically, without much thought, and in large amounts») amazing products, it just sounds wrong;
b. Batman season 1 (was playing it year after release, 2 times i lost my saves), Game of Thrones season 1, Gua...
Love how the «big and famous reviewers» are ignoring all those little «time savers», as Ubisoft calls them. This is a $60 AAA game from a big publisher that sells you gameplay advantages in a singleplayer game. Right now, i'm playing a mobile idle game that have those «permanent boosts». How are some people are ok and/or defending this?!
It's getting worse with every new game. First it was skins, now it's «permanent boosts»...
Size doesn't matter, IMO. Like Ghost Recon Wildlands, world is really big, yes, but it's mostly dead and boring.
«What is the Most Interesting and Living Open World in Gaming» would be a better question
Hmm, so asian cowboys are not important, right, IGN? /s
P. S.: Why race, gender and sexual preferences are always so important to them?
Disgusting, just disgusting... And remember this quote, from EA CEO Andrew Wilson:
«Is this good for the player?»
I bet conversation goes like this:
Wilson: «Is this good for the player?»
EA employee: «No, G-d no, it's less than 1%!»
Wilson: «Great, implement it, fuck the player!»
Guess now we know what they meant by "Special offers"
Yeah, that's why big game publishers are closing down one by one, right? Like EA, 2k Games, Ubisoft, Activision Blizzard. Or, what, they're a billion dollar businesses, microtransactions for them is an extra way to make more money for CEO and top management bonuses.
For example, original Destiny ($145 million) and GTA V ($265 million) cost a lot of money, didn't have microtransactions at launch and developer and publisher didn't close down. When they added m...
Stop stopping people!
1. Shoot
2. Loot
3. ...
4. Pay
5. PROFIT for EA!
Looks great, but news about microtransactions in a single player game are worrying me about both Devil May Cry 5 and Resident Evil 2 REmake.
Wait, didn't they release GTA V online after release of the singleplayer? Like almost a month or two later? It didn't help with additional singleplayer content.
How is Nintendo doing this? How can they be so dumb? How can they trust client data (rankings, unlocks, etc) IN ONLINE GAME?!
Client can send you any info they want, you have to control and validate it. YOU must store rankings, player profile, his/her unlocks. If client tell you that he' #1 in rankings and unlocked everything, but it's a fresh profile, you must ban him right away, instead you allow him to continue playing and ruining other player's experience.

Sony has crossplay with PC, mr. PCGamer dot com. And has more crossplay titles than Xbox 360, Xbox One, WiiU, Switch combined (you can search it for yourself on wiki, "List of video games that support cross-platform play"). So yeah.
I love and hate this game at the same time. I love the characters and story, improvements in movement and new gameplay options they added (aside from naval combat).
But i hate it because of the 2 100% sync requirements - shoot 3 weak points on the ships (mission "The Giant and the Storm") and kill 2 captains undetected (mission "Conflict Looms"). This 2 missions showed me how undercooked some of the mechanics were, when ship can just blow up for no reaso...
Really reminds me of George Carlin quote, from 'Advertising Lullaby'
«Actually, it's our way of saying 'Bend over just a little farther
so we can stick this big advertising dick up your ass a little bit
deeper, a little bit deeper, a little bit DEEPER, you miserable
no-good dumbass f-ing consumer!'»
What about Ace Combat 7? Trailers are looking great so far, IMO. And Ace Combat: Assault Horizon on PS3 was a blast! And maybe God Eater 3 might be good?
Of course it depends on your personal preferences)
«And yet all it took was one game, i.e. Mass Effect Andromeda to unleash the fury of the fans and give BioWare a bad name.»
Come on, Dragon Age 2 (awful), Dragon Age Inquisition (ok), Mass Effect 3 (ok, aside from endings), Mass Effect Andromeda (awful). After amazing Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect 1 and 2 and top notch older games, their quality is dropping.
If their new game will be amazing - great! But recent news and trailers (imo) made Anthem look l...
