And it's not the first time. Let's not forget how they celebrated Diablo 20th anniversary (in 2016) - with a necromancer paid DLC (making "Ultimate Evil edition" not so ultimate anymore) and not remaster of Diablo 1, not remaster of Diablo 2, not Diablo 4 announcement, not with a new addon - but with a limited-time Diablo 3 event, available only for 1 month, in January.
Oh, they will change economy, this is just the beginning. Remember GTA Online? At first, it was kind of tolerable, now it's a mess.
It's a competely general statement. You can say that about any company.

Ubisoft fans are so fragile that they won't even use common sense. The Switch is old and will be In decline next year, the Battlefield V is new and will be gaining momentum.
What about that is even remotely hard to understand?
---
See, not that hard.
And just FYI, old != bad/decline in sales and new != good/increase in sales. And Switch ...
Wow, that's just insulting. Not a free game, not a season pass, no even a refund, just some virtual currency, that you can't buy anything worthwhile with.
Whoever bought this should follow the George Carlin: «Either you gimme my money back—or I'm shittin' in the well!»
Oh come on, you can compress the games better (Uncharted Collection (Uncharted 1, 2 and 3) can fit into one blu-ray disc) or you can add a second disc, they're cheap (i mean, check Amazon, you can buy spindle of 50 blu-ray discs for like $25) and Activision is gigantic publisher, one disc (with printing and recording) will probably cost less that $1 to them.
I wonder, will they remaster Dead Souls? IMO, it was a pretty good game, with awful FPS.
Oh, and Binary Domain too, for that matter. Or announce the sequel, maybe.
I guess they also have this games in development:
StarCraft™: Galaxy Of Heroes
Angry Diablos 2
Overwatch Crush Saga
Clash of WarCraft Clans
Flappy Hyperion
World Series of Hearthstone
Idle Rock'n'Roll Racing
StarCraft Shelter

Same logic - «If maniacs would stop killing people, i will stop killing them too»
If someone's doing something wrong, doesn't mean you have to. You have a choice. And you chose.. poorly.
💪 of the ☁️ indeed
a. Blizzard "hyped" their Blizzcon to sell more tickets and got nothing to show for it;
b. People spent money to buy Blizzcon tickets, traveling there, living, food, etc and their personal time;
c. Before Blizzcon, they were dropping hints, that there are multiple Diablo projects in the works;
d. It's a chinese developer, not their own work. They can sugarcoat as much as they want, still doesn't make it any good;

Final Fantasy XV had:
- Main game with missing chunks of content and in-game product placement (American Express, Instant Noodles, Coleman);
- Season Pass №1;
- Incoming Season Pass №2;
- 2D side-scrolling game («A King's Tale: Final Fantasy XV»);
- CGI movie, that runs parallel with the events of game («Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV»);
- Anime series («Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV»);
- Free Novel...
Future my ass! They do understand that not everyone lives in the Europe or United States and might have no, slow or even limited internet access (aka, not all sites available due to censorship, retarded government and so on; and/or there are caps on send/received data), right? Who will want to play with lags, disconnects and issues?
On the other side, i hope this big publishers will continue to push this «streaming future», releast it, people will not buy it and t...
Then why don't they officially sign a legally binding contract, that if servers will be closed down at any point in time (5, 10, 50, 100 years from now on, it doesn't matter), Bethesda and the parent company (currently, it's ZeniMax Media Inc.) will be obligated to donate all of their money/assets to some charity, like Doctors without Borders?
Maybe then they will stop lying and using hyperbole, to "hype" their game before release.
Few years from now on:
«'Fallout 98', the New Bethesda game, immidiately crashes to desktop, format your HDDs and SSDs, but i sort of love it anyways»
It's gonna be released in 10 days or so, they will not fix even 5% of the discovered bugs. So «it's just a beta» excuse kind of makes no sense in this instance.
And please, don't give publishers/developers a free pass. They screw up, you tell me, don't be «but...
So killing players and NPCs is completely fine, stealing stuff is completely fine, NPCs swearing in-game and in cutscenes is completely fine, but using some «bad» names is a no-no?
Why are you so sure that, though? Do you know their database schema or did you use their API for developers (not trolling, just curious)? Because, after a quick googling, i found this:
github . com/Tustin/psn-php/blob/master /src/Api/User.php#L79
It's not 100% guarantee, but this project was updated less than a month ago. So PSN profiles MIGHT have 3 IDs (judging by the code):
- npId;
- onlineId (aka, login);
- accountId.
Looking through restrictions, i think, Sony meant this only for 3rd party games, that implemented PSN accounts support incorrectly.
What i mean, for example, let's say there is a game called "Fufa" by Electronic Farts. It's online game and each player have an account. On account register, they use your PSN account login (the thing you can change now) and not account ID (the permanent identifier). You buy stuff in-game for your current account login, let...
The fact that this game costs money and you have to constantly buy new cards (only with real money at the moment) in order to stay competitive is disgusting. You're basically paying for the first 10 packs. And there is no leveling/progression system either.
How the mighty have fallen.
