Thanks for the info!
So ~126 games (not counting Pokémon Sword and Shield, Pokéland, but including games where Pokémons just a side character, like Smash Bros.) over 23 years (from 1996 to 2019) = ~5.4 games a year (some years had no games, some had 7+, like 2002). Just wow.
What if you'll get banned for whatever reason ("cheating", political, "racist" terms during gameplay, etc)?
What if they'll ban your country (political, whatever)?
What if you live in a town/city/state/country/region where this cloud system do not have local caching servers (for example, ping from London to Washington takes ~75ms and ping from Moscow to Washington takes ~128ms and ping from Tokyo to Washington takes ~160ms)?
What if your ...
E3: Picks up legendary, it's "Jarra's Wrath", you see stats, weapon level, how it looks and you can equip it right here/it's already equipped and you can use it right away. Total time: 5 seconds
Retail: Picks up some unknown legendary, have to teleport into tower, wait for loading screen, get into forge, find it among the same-looking weapons, check stats, equip it, get out of forge, get into your javelin, get back into free play, wait for another load...
Wait, what? There were movies on Steam?!
«Crackdown 3 is exposing a flaw in how we think about games and quality. And maybe our tastes need to mature slightly to properly appreciate it.»
Maybe it's just me (not saying it's true, but it sure sounds like that), but it reads like «someone paid me an undisclosed amount of money to promote the game, so i will go out of my way and say that it's YOUR fault for not liking the game, you need to expect less, ignore the insane PR and lies and grow ...
There's no reason in buying the next Xbox, unless Microsoft changes their stance on quality exclusives for console. Why should i buy the next Xbox when most of the exclusives* are available on PC, with higher resolution, better graphics and (sometimes) better controls? What's the point of buying the console, if not for great exclusives?
P. S.: I do not care about their "Netflix for gaming" service (it's fine if you do, but i prefer buying physical copi...
Game was good and i had a feeling, they were planning a sequel, judging by the ending.
My main problems: game was kind of short (got platinum in it in 8 hours, personal fastest platinum in AAA game), with great graphics and animations, awful boss battles, bad mandatory stealth sections and 2nd half of the story
(when you burn down the vampires)
was a mess.
If developers will fix those issues, i'll gladly buy it!
Serious question - why microtransactions are still called "MICROtransactions", when they're far from being MICRO?!
$36 is more than a half of how much the game costs.
Then what about games like 1-2-Switch and Labo? They require detachable controllers.
Hmm, so, serious question - what if somebody accuses Andrew Wilson of - allegedly - being a rapist, will EA «remove» him as well, to save their public image? What if people will accuse all of EA top management of raping people - allegedly - will all top management be removed from the company?
And what if it will be confirmed, that Ronaldo didn't rape anybody (just a possibility), will EA put him back on the cover? Because that will be kind of weird, like you g...
It's an investment for them and Sega is struggling, judging by the recent news, they'll have to update the Yakuza engine to support Xbox, which might take quite some time. Plus all the licensing fees, learning for the team, promotions and stuff.
And japanese games are not so popular on Xbox, as far as i remember, first Nier and Nier Automata sold pretty poorly on Xbox (both 360 and One). And Yakuza games are very japanese. And i mean, originally, they didn't wan...
«I was always suspecting that the french GIGN character in Counter-Strike was gay, i need confirmation NOW!» said no one
I still don't understand the problem with review bombing. So on some game store, like Steam, instead of "Overwhelmingly positive" will be "Very positive", what's the problem (trying to say that review bombing doesn't affect score too much and doesn't happen oftern)? Because before review bombing, people were lashing out on forums, YouTube, Twitter, you name it. And review bombing being used not only as a form of protest, but as a way to highlight issues wit...
This is a quote from Sapkowski:
“I was stupid enough to sell them rights to the whole bunch,” Sapkowski said at the time. “They offered me a percentage of their profits. I said, ‘No, there will be no profit at all — give me all my money right now! The whole amount.’ It was stupid. I was stupid enough to leave everything in their hands because I didn’t believe in their success. But who could foresee their success? I couldn’t.”
It shouldn't be like that, you sign...
Good news and good bundle, too bad they do not include Europe and Asia, again
Who are you to ask @SuperSonic91 who he is and can he decide who can report what?
P. S.: If you want to know, i'm just an innocent bystander
P. P. S.: Yes, this is a joke
In my opinion, cross-progress, while sounds good for players, it might have some caveats for developers and console holders (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo).
For developers, it means they have to push updates simultaneously, to all platforms, otherwise, for example, your character on PS4 might have different equipment that on Switch (because recent patch removed some item that your character had, for some reason, it might even happen once, it's still a posibility you have to...
Come on, guys, we all know that all-powerful whiteys don't allow any "minorities" to play video games, when any "minority" enters GameStop or any similar video game store, angry white salesmans immidiately calls the cops and everyone must buy at least one copy of Witcher games, because everyone there are white, because that's THE LAW /s

This is just so dumb... Like, seriously, who cares who play video games?! And are you telling me some minori...
Take away the license from EA and give it to individual developers, hand-picked, control how they use the license, what they're trying to achieve and push for the highest product quality possible. Yes, it takes effort, time and money, but what your "give license to one publishers and don't do nothing" approach brought you? 2 mediocre games, one barely had any content in it, other hurt your brand more than your mediocre movies.
Keep your movies focused, one...
Lost Planet 3 sales happened, probably; it sold like 27000 copies on the first week in Japan.
Though, to me Lost Planet 3 was a good game, story was great (not only main story, but all the side quests and stuff combined), it was kind of repetative with annoying QTEs and overall felt slow, but atmosphere, imo, was top notch.
