Crossplay might sound (and work) good for some games, but is not a silver bullet.

For example let's take an online game, like Warframe. Now the PC version receives the updates first. If crossplay would rule the game, it would require every version to be in sync with others (otherwise, what's the point if with each update you can only play with one platform, because your version have the new warframe while others don't?) and it will make updating the game a very ...

Allegations don't mean anything, remember the Alec Holowka situation? What if people will proof that it's false, will Edmund McMillen start working with them again?

Or what if Kotaku will release the «Edmund McMillen is an abusive racist» next, with just allegations, should Edmund McMillen stop working with himself?

That's some great news, congrats to Nintendo for picking this gem up! Nintendo is doing the right moves lately, with Bayonetta, then Marvel Ultimate Alliance and now this.

One question though, is Swery responsible for the Deadly Premonition 2? Because if he's not, i'm afraid Deadly Premonition 2 might be much worse that people are expecting.

NBA 2k20: shows literal pachinko-like machine, slot machine, wheel spinning and card pack opening. Shows cheerful/happy reactions from gaining good results after gambling. Full of cheerful sounds during good results. Requires money to participate. Uses special currency.
PEGI: That's ok, good for kids!

Pokemon: have slot machine that use in-game currency only
PEGI: 'DATS LITCHERALLY GAMBLING!!!

This whole situation is just disgusting. Just a couple of tweets and the person's life was, basically, destroyed. And those tweets had ZERO credibility, yet "journalists" and Quinn's mindless twitter drones still started attacking Alec. Both she and her drones must face legal punishment. Someone is sexually harassing you, you collect your evidence and go to police. If you vent on social media, then you're a part of the problem.

And please, do NOT buy N...

I'm sorry, but i can't believe anything Zoe Quinn says, she was lying for how long, six years? And isn't her whole career is one big sex scandal? And Twitter or Notes app on your iPhone is not a credible source. Is there any court case or report to the authorities? No? Yeah, no, i don't believe you.

And look at her tweet, how many dumb people repeating the «we believe you» mantra, it's very scary. Imagine (just an example, not saying about curr...

It sounds interesting, but i do hope it's optional and doesn't affect the singleplayer. So it wouldn't be like in Metal Gear Solid V, when as soon as you connect to the internet, it creates your personal FOB and takes half of your resources and vehicles. Which might affect you in a bad way.

I also read somewhere, that it's supposed to be a shared world, which might also be bad, if someone's death will affect your world (aka, those void-outs and huge crat...

This looks bad, for a Battletoads game. And i'm not talking about art style (though, it doesn't help). What i do not like is too bright backgrounds (like in a boss fight, they take away your attention) and a lack of "separation" of sprites. I mean, when 3 toads and 3 enemies are attacking each other, it looks like a colorful mess.

Gameplay-wise, hit detection is just awful, a lot of times attack that should enemies do not hit them, look at that power drill...

Game costs money, so it's already monetized, there's no reason to have any additional monetization. Want microtransaction? Go free-to-play, like Warframe or Fartnite. Why there's a need for extra "premium" currency? There's no need for that, aside from greed.

Please, stop making excuses for publishers and developers or else with each new game/iteration, they will give you less and less and ask for more and much more.
Look for yourself, pre...

Split screen multiplayer didn't just die, it was murdered!

Probably just publishers and developers do not want to «waste time» on this feature, for some reason (money - spend less money developing and testing the game and earn more, because if you want to play with friend/relative, you buy 2 copies). I do like it and play with my younger brother that way in games like Rocket League and Wipeout and a lot of older games (like Vigilante 8, for instance).

Why should anyone trust them? Google UI and UX is pretty bad, look at Gmail, each restyle is a pain.

By she wears a watermelon shirt, hence the name. And she's a freaking bandicoot, not a human being.

Or is it the good-old «have arms and legs = human. Have darker skin color (NOT black, just darker that white) = black. Black human + watermelon = racist» logic?

Not in current "version", no.

You have to pay for the service, there's no solution for latency and data caps yet, it lacks public beta version and/or real gameplay with various games (right now i only saw the Doom gameplay, which was looking choppy and it's older game, i can run it on my old PC 1080p with 60fps no problems) AND you have to buy the games, full price mind you. And you don't own the games, if service get shut down (and it will, sooner or ...

"Dynamic, everchanging world" - no, world is static, even delayed "Cataclysm" is just a separate map
"Powerful, personal story" - no, just no, that Monitor is the most generic villain ever and story is same as Destiny 2, a big baddy wants to take power for itself and then you kill it. And what's personal about it, just the fact that you're playing through it? Then every story in the world is personal

Only thing BioWare demonstrated is how they can release broken mess - not a game, a mess. With tons of lies in their trailers, from gameplay mechanics to world building to story (remember the "Our World, My Story" BS trailer)? Game lacks in every department, story, customization, world and others, yet have the nerve to release with macrotransaction store already in place. Or how about their "roadmap" that they set and then later cancelled.

And EA CEO is ...
