*minor spoilers ahead*
I dunno about RE3 remake. I feel like Capcom was using it more as a testing grounds than a passion project, they probably want to see how much they can cut the corners on future remakes/games and trying out a lot of weird design decisions. Like the whole tentacle porn angle, the "Parasite" status (which is only used in 1 location and they tell you beforehand how to remove it), the "defend the point" in the hospital, Nemesis running...
This new «Interactive Elements» add-on is useless, because it «do not influence the rating assignment of a product» and doesn't show you how much those purchases affect the game. There's a huge difference between "i can buy only 1 skin with real money in-game" and "every weapon, skin, armor, attachments, maps, skill points, resources even in-game money are up for sale with real money", but this new add-on doesn't show that.
There was already an article here about finding the fire hose, just in the demo (in case you don't believe me - /news/2334324/how-to-put-out-t he-fire-in-resident-evil-3-rema kes-demo - just add n4g at the beginning). And guess what, it's still in the same location, Kite Bros. Is this seriously such a big issue that it needs multiple articles?
Drakengard 1 & 2, especially if you're a fan of good OST and gameplay
I dunno, Saints Row 3 wasn't that good.
I still haven't played the Saints Row 1 and Saints Row 2 was amazing (especially the Aisha/Ronin missions), would love to replay it, especially, with all the DLC included and with FPS issues fixed.
No offence to anyone who like this game, but... Constant «low ammo» is annoying, no matter how much you conserve your ammunition. Glory/chainsaw kills are getting stale (and required) too quick. Enemies dropping ammo as icons is awful and platforming is just annoying. Personally, i wouldn't rate this game higher than 6 or 6.5. And i love old Doom 1-2. This game is arena shooter, not level puzzle with monsters thrown in to slow your progress. Not hating on it, but story is very m...
I was thinking this has something to do with gameplay.
I've never been so wrong in my entire life!
If we're using Twitch viewers as a metric for success, then Halo: Infinite must add a body painting mode, squats for subs, IRL and thots. This is the only way to success! /s
Actually, just a tiny amount of players were negative about the «No Russian» mission. You can search through steam forums to see for yourself, mission is called «Ни слова по-русски» in russian. It was an optional mission and it had a warning with option of skipping it beforehand.
Don't want to be political, but i think, this has a lot to do with braindead russian politicians and recent policies. Lately, here in Russia censorship was just off the char...
> Biggest Departure for the Series yet
I sure hope that doesn't mean battle royale and/or live service shooter with microtransactions, battle pass and lite RPG elements
To be fair, it's not crossplay that preserves old games, it's open servers. I mean, look at CS 1.6, WarCraft III, even Star Wars: Jedi Knight games, you can still play them without any issues on public and private servers. Too bad that publishers/developers do not like to do that anymore. And once they disable the servers, that's it, the multiplayer part of the game is dead.
On PC, Scarlet Spear is a mess right now, feels like early beta test. Rewards are so small for hours of work, it's disgusting. And on top of that, it's same Mobile Defense for both space and ground teams.
I don't know about other players, but to me, latest updates seems like less rewind and more grind:
- Kuva Liches require grinding the murmurs, weapons (with randomized stats) and parazon mods;
- Railjack requires constant repairs, grinding for...
I dunno, it looks PR person is trying to be as vague as possible. I might be too hopeful, but:
«It’s not to say we are completely closing the door on the franchise, just not in the way it is being reported.»
Maybe they're debunking just the part about Konami selling the Metal Gear and Silent Hill franchises to Sony?
Especially after this «We asked the Konami US PR rep for some clarification ..., asking if both the reported Silent Hill re...
I'm stuck at «download the demo», please halp!!! /s
If you can't figure out how to put out the fire, maybe the game isn't for you, seriously? Fire is just a beginning, next you might need to solve even trickier puzzles.
I can understand «where to find all 20 dolls» articles, but this is just...
Sorry, you mean Switch exclusive with microtransactions? Because if not, Switch has Warframe, FIFA, NBA 2k, Dauntless and they got microtransactions aplenty. Situation with exclusives is much better, though, yes, i only remember about Super Kirby Clash having them (but it is marked as «free to start», so it's ok).
But at the same time, Nintendo has amiibos with content and whole modes locked behind them. Like co-op for Shovel Knight (originally, now it's n...
@TK-66
You said «Dreams isn't a fan creation. It sells itself on fan creations, which means that it is indirectly profiting off any content that infringes on 3rd parties IP.». That was the main point in your original comment.
You're blaming Dreams, not it's creations. Like they advertise themselves as a place where you can play «any content that infringes on 3rd parties IP» and profit from it. They don't.
Dreams is a too...
>It sells itself on fan creations, which means that it is indirectly profiting off any content that infringes on 3rd parties IP.
That's a very slippery slope. Replace «It» with Photoshop, Flash, Blender, Maya, Unreal Engine, Unity Engine, even MS Paint, it all fits perfectly. Heck, even pen and pencil fits there. So, does that mean that every copyright holder should close down all pen and pencil factories, along with graphics/music/3D/sound editors, game en...
If Sea of Thieves was free-to-play from small studio, then it would be kind of fine (but still bad). But it's a game from Rare and Microsoft, you know, the big dogs and it price was $60. There's no excuse to release it in such broken state, as @Ricegum correctly pointed.
And Rare was hyping this game at every E3 with «our most ambitious project yet» and stuff like that, so yeah, they certanly didn't communicate that game would be empty at launch.
Most of the battles are actually that easy, you just switch between 3xRavager (offensive magic) and 2xRavager + Medic (healer, duh). 3xRavager will take care of 99.99% of the fights.
Boss battles are 3xSynergist for buffs, then 3xSabotage for debuffs, after that - 3xRavager or 2xMedic + Ravager (during boss attacks) or Medic + Ravager + Sentinel (if boss can wipe out a character in 1 hit).
Sometimes you can replace Ravager with Commando (offensive physica...
Yay, Swery's back! Great job by whoever greenlit this!
After that, Swery should consider working on next chapter of D4, "ending" was such an awesome cliffhanger...
